Stew41 (1040), Caulfield, Australia Oct 29, 2009 Unremarkable beer but good enough as a summer quaff. It’s quite a sturdy number with some firm bitterness in the back palate and a grainy flavour that I could mistake for pilsner. Quite smooth though and ok length. Just one of those beers you can’t say too much about (well, something of interest anyway). RedhawkFIN (20), Finland Oct 25, 2009 Draught@Munich, Germany. Typical German Helles. Worked well with spicy Indian food but noyhing special really. 184601 (143), Mexicali, Mexico Oct 20, 2009 Purchased a 500ml bottle at Mexicali Soriana Supermarket for 23 pesos.Reallly good beer. reminds me of Smauel Admas BL but with different kind off hops, grassy , mm some bitterness, and sweetness like almost all Germans, the consistance of the liquid itself its very drinkable and nice to the stomach and throat yet its very heavy, as a meal which is good, mcdav2154 (289), Germany Oct 5, 2009 As expected. Pretty good lager but nothing to write home about. Smell is of grass, straw, and slightly sweet. Taste is the same with some hoppiness to it. Refreshing but not that good. Boystout (900), Chisinau, Moldova Oct 3, 2009 Bottle. One more standard industrial lager: pale golden,, sweetish, watery and predictable. Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Sep 29, 2009 extremely boring, but very clean and refreshing. I should order this in a larger quantity if I am able to find it that way. Bottle at 2nd Annual Treasure Coast Beerfest in Ft. Pierce, Fla. zach8270 (2051), Henrietta, New York, USA Sep 24, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold color with a medium white head. Aroma is light and slightly sweet with some hints of dry grass. Flavor is sweet and malty at the beginning with a dry grass and slightly metallic hint in the middle. Finish is dry and bitter. sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Sep 14, 2009 No 831

Bottle brown, 500 ml, got it in Munchen.
Appearance: Pours bright golden, shiny, beautiful and impressive, perfectly clear body, body is very well saturated, carbonation is lively and working for a long time, head is snowy white, initially big, decreasing to small after quick period of time and than lasting firmly for a long time, forthy, leaving nice lacing, texture of the body is characteristically oily as for a typical Helles.
Aroma: Notes of aromatic herbal hoppy top, some notes of lemon and lime, mild and sweetish malty background, some notes of grains but not that pronounced as in German Pilseners, rather not sophisticated and not complex, very streight forward and characteristic of its style, refreshing, again mild and inviting to drinking.
Flavour: Very nice, soft, sweetish, malty frony, some aromatic, fresh, herbal hops are going after highly salty and mineral not only due to its mineral water profile but also due to a high amount of carbon dioxide, interesting and quite easy going, well pronounced flavour of a helles with moderate finish duration, notes of wax.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is rather watery, slightly oily, carbonation on palate is lively, finish feel is sweetish, slightly grainy, clean, mineral, I still find Andechser Hell and Hacker Pschorr Helle better than this one.
