Flavour is a bit malty with very light bitterness. I don’t know. I did not like this one, way too thin in several ways... taunusmies (277), Finland

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Bottle @ Dos in Davis. Had this brew next to another lager, and paled in comparison. The experience was smooth going in, but most was aftertaste that lingered. I wasn’t impressed. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 14, 2008 Poured a golden color and had a very grainy smell. Flavor is back loaded with a slighty bitter kick for the aftertaste. Not bad, but an average beer. Metalhead (572), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2008 Drank this out of the bottle so color and pour not in the picture. It had a weird herby grain off flavor in the start. Let it sit a few mins and it turned into a fairly drinkable European lager. Not great but better than the typical American macro swill to be sure. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 13, 2008 (on 33ml. bottle, never seen such a small bottle from this brewhouse) So, best sold lager in the world, well, about time I taste it, then. Pale yellow, nice, lasting white head. A small hoppy nose, in fact the hops are the dominat aroma and flavour throughout the drink, even though I suspected more breadyness. Fresh carbonation, goes well with the rather dry and herbish finish. I liked it. JesseM (681), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

This is definitely quite an enjoyable brew, from one of my favourite styles. It’s a bit mellow, but still with enough sweet biscuity malts to satisfy my palate. The mouth-feel is very decent, smooth, crisp, refreshing. The only thing it really loses points for with me is the fact that it has just a touch too much hops than what I like to have in my Dortmunders and Helles lagers. But over-all, when served fresh this is a great example of a simpler, but delicious style of beer! screwball (804), Motala, Sweden

Light clear golden and a white head. An ok pils with some fresh hops and citrus. Also some metalic feel in aroma and taste.
