Jan 25, 2008 Pours a light clearish yellow color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of grains and straw. Nice and clean and crisp. Along with the nice crisp clean malty flavors I get a little banana as well. Thin palate, but it coats the mouth a bit as well. Carbonation is less prominent than I expected from a lighter colored beer.
This is a nice, light German brew, lager, whatever.

Jan 24, 2008 Clear golden yellow with a foamy white head. It has a hay-like malt aroma and slightly hoppy. Flavor is obviously very malty with some fruit notes and grainy, pleasant bitterness. Medium body and lively carbonation.

Jan 24, 2008 On tap at The Castle on King- Pours a sparkling gold liquid capped with a thick foamy froth, leaving good lace. The aroma is subtle grass, hay, some wood, and a touch of malty lemony goodness. The flavour profile is cookie/biscuit upfront with hay/lemon mid way and finishes with a good fresh hop lemon profile. Nice bite to the finish. Subtle and enjoyable session beer.

Puts a clear pale gold lager in the glass with a 2 finger white sticky cap moderate retention, reduces to a surface cap and laces well.
Aroma of fresh biscuits with a herbal-woody under tone.
Stable malt spine, some biscuit malt up front, lovely herbal-woody-lemony discernment in the middle then a nice biscuit snap at the finish balanced with more earthy notes.
A fine helles for sessions...I think I like this better than the Hacker helles.

Jan 7, 2008 12 oz. bottle poured into lager glass- poured transparent golden yellow, white head formed and slowly bubbled away. Aroma of malt, grains, and hops. Hits the mouth with a defined thin body, malt and hops noticeable but not overpowering, finish melts away, very refreshing.
