2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very light golden, heavy bubbly. Decisively German, with large carbonation, crisp fermentation, clean yet well present hops. More straightforward taste finish, big bubbly mouthfeel. It’s okay. (50cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear straw yellow, sweaty on the side of the glass. The head is as white and ephemeral as cola. When you think of "German beer" this is probably what you think of.
The smell is of corn and rice krispies. Not at all unpleasant, but not at all inspiring. Some sugars.
The taste is more sharp malts, sweet corn sugars. Whatever hop is there is drowned in the flavors. Again, perfectly pleasant, just nothing to get excited about.
The feel is smooth and buttery; fits with the style. The most middle of the road beer that maybe I’ve ever had. Perfectly acceptable, not at all exciting.

T: The art of a simple German Lager. Sweet malts, honey and bready yeast. Metallic. Flowery hops in the end
M: Light body and good carbonation. Mild bitter aftertaste
O: High drinkability. Paulaner quality. Great German Lager. Excellent session beer

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
500 ml bottle. BB 11/14. (Netto) Peißenberg, Germany.
Clear golden colour with a small white head.
Grainy malt, mild hops and papery dryness in the aroma.
The flavour is pretty ordinary lager... dryish cardboardy malt and some mild grassy hops.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 ounce bottle. Honey gold color. Small creamy white head. Faint grainy malt nose. Sweet grainy malt flavor is light and refreshing. Light citrus hops balance this nicely. Overall, this pretty lightweight. But it is eminently drinkable and refreshing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear, golden pour with a frothy, white head. The aroma is pretty light with some grain and mild hops. It has a light, crisp body with lively carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a quick, slightly bitter finish.

2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is almost non-existent. Flavor is very mild with a decent hop finish. nothing really special about this brew, imo.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at Draft House. Pale yellow, slight haze, lightly sparkling, dense foamy white head. Aroma is sweet, musty, generically lager-like. Body is medium to light, some spritz, slightly foamy. Taste is biscuity, simple malt character suggesting doughy pitta bread. Nice basic malty lager.
