Pale straw yellow, creamy white head. Grassy corn aroma. Very grassy tastes, a bit of lingering corn and kind of rough on the finish.

Bottle from Tesco. Clear gold with thin white head. Malty aroma with a very slight citrus edge. Deep malty taste with hints of lemon and a dry finish. Rounded palate, yet at the same time it’s slightly thin. Easy to drink but nothing special.

500 ml bottle in Germany. Tastes better in Germany as I have seen. Clear yellow with white head. A good Hellles. Smooth and creamy. A bit watery for a great rating. A good standard to judge other helles by. There are better and worse.

Pale yellow appearance with a very light head. Typical lager scent. Remarkably smooth with no bite, went down easy. Not sure worth the price, about $10/6-pack in KC, but enjoyable.

Abaixo das expectativas. Paladar aguado e pouco duradouro. Espuma fina. Pouco perfume.

Pour: Pale yellow gold, with a 1-2 finger frothy white head that fades to a skim in a couple minutes, but has good retention at that point and leaves specks of lacing. Aroma: Straw, grassy hops, sweet grainy malts, white bread crust toastiness. Flavor: Lots of grainy malts, faint lemony and floral hops, decent grassy hops, sweet grainy malts. Finish is low on bitterness, grassy hops linger with a vague maltiness. Body: Thin and watery, carbonation is about right.
