When the Original Münchner was brewed for the first time at the end of the 19th Century, it was a spectacular success. With its hoppy taste, subtle, light and elegant, it becomes ever popular. Today the Paulaner Original Münchner is the best sold Münchner Hellbier (lager beer) in the world and Paulaner's No. 1 export beer in over 30 countries with its wonderfully subtle, spicy, naturally hearty taste.

Пустой, имхо. Да и горечи бы меньше.

The best known Münchener helles, since the early 20th century. Light yellowish white, regular, dense but eventually opening foam, light golden blonde colour, clear. Soft and pure malt sweetness in the nose, chamomille, honey, biscuit, flowery hops. Clean and crisp malt taste, light sweetness, tingling like mineral water, the good quality of the brewing water is clear and plays an important role in lagers like this; elegant, mild spicy hop bitterishness in the finish with a sourish touch. Well-made, appetizing and thirst-quenching, unambitious like any good Helles should be. Exemplary for its style.

01.08.2014, tap @ Leopold’s (Paulaner Keller), Hamburg:
Nice creamy longlasting head, light straw colored. Aroma is slightly sweet, light malts, butterscotch, grass, sugar, hay, hints of winegum. Taste is slightly sweet, light malts, hay, weeds, paper, cereal. Medium bitterness, slightly dry grainy mouthfeel. So boring.

Bottle. Pours clear light gold. Nose is hay, cracker malt, floral. Flavour is understated delicate floral and cracker malt. Slightly on the sweet side. After so many cheap lagers recently this really hits the spot.
