When the Original Münchner was brewed for the first time at the end of the 19th Century, it was a spectacular success. With its hoppy taste, subtle, light and elegant, it becomes ever popular. Today the Paulaner Original Münchner is the best sold Münchner Hellbier (lager beer) in the world and Paulaner's No. 1 export beer in over 30 countries with its wonderfully subtle, spicy, naturally hearty taste.

On tap at City Pub in Peje/Pec in Kosovo. Ciao Tommie. Pours pale golden, almost yellow but quite bright a bit hazy with a long lasting white head. Nose: a bit flat, some honey notes. Slightly perceivable milky yeast. Mouth: honey, a bit lemony with a central hole and a mineral end. Nice, no flaws, easy but not terrific. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Grainy sweet malt aroma, medium high flowers and herbal hop aroma. Light honey and cracker. Totally bright, deep gold, average white dense foam. Sweety grainy and light bread notes, very low hop flavour, low dms. No diacetyl. Medium high body, not dry. Medium low carbonation. Absent astringency.

Pour from bottle, the liquid is medium bodied and light gold in color. Not very lively and flattens really fast. Smell very lightly alcohol and taste somewhat sweet, but leave a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Overall, it’s ok but really can’t say that I love it.
