3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured two fingers of head on a clear, light straw colored body.
The aroma is a good dry grain with a touch of lemon.
The taste is quite smooth. A little mild bitterness throughout. It has a nice balance.
The texture is a little fizzy with a light body.
Enjoyable and easy drinking.

Quite a surprise! I knew Paulaner from the Weisbeer, so I totally forgot they had a "normal" pilsener! Great beer!

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @ Bavarian Bier Cafe. Pale straw, big frothy head. Very muted malt and citrus flower aromas. Nice malty flavours throughout beer cleaned up with a slightly bitter, very dry finish making you want another to go with your pretzel.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale straw pour, muted nose, charged carbonation, little to no head retention, medium-bodied hay-tasting malt, clean uneventful finish. Can’t help to think that this is Germany’s version of everyday Coors Light, only a notch better.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazy straw to pale yellow with as small to mdium head subsiding over a minute or so, with some lacing, to a medium thin layer of foam. The nose has some spicy noble hops and some malt with some nuance of biscuit and bread crust. The high carbonation and mineral presence here kind of hide the malt character in the mouth. THe finishe in dry and lingers long enough to enjoy a bit of remaining malt notes as the bite of the carbonation subsides. Crisp clean and refreshing as a pils should be maybe a little less clear and a little more carbonated than my sweet spot for the style.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. A bit more hoppy than your average Munich helles, but not cloes to the crisp hoppy pils of Northern Germany, not to mention Bohemia. Refreshing, light, no flaws.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
The aroma Is flowery. Some grainy notes are also present. Pours a clear light yellow with many rising bubbles, a mostly lasting white head and spotty lacing. The taste is malt forward, some grain noted in the middle, and a slight, but pleasing, dry hoppy finish. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Overall, I found it to be very refreshing. It is well balance and the dry finish iys very satisfying.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A - pours a slightly hazed gold with a thin white head.
S - sweet malt, lemon, honey, grassy hops.
T - follows the nose except for the toasted husk grain flavor. Fairly sweet, lemon, grassy hops, semi-rich sweet bready malt. Finishes slightly bitter and doesn’t dry out much at the end.
M - Medium creamy body, good carbonation.
Big malt presence. Doesn’t finish as dry as expected but still good. Nothing outstanding. A good but average pils.
