Golden classic pilsner appearance, tapped with minimal head. Very mild aroma, bit of crisp light bready malts, not much more. Taste is crisp as well, light bitter, short ending. Not much to say. Maybe slightly more boring than your average German pilsner. Good body though. (Pint on tap at L’Académie de la Bière)
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MattSweatshirt (9) - - MAR 28, 2013 does not count
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2013 Pours out a clear golden colored body with a nice thick topping of white head that recedes to a thin cap that leaves some lacing.
The nose is met with a pleasant sweet bready and grainy malt with some earthy and herbal noble hop.
There is a nice mild hop bitterness. The hops deliver on the herbal side. Lots of bready malt character.
Easy drinking and light bodied. Carbonation is on point. A little dry.
Nice lil’ German pils that’s easy to get on this side of the pond. Would drink again. Wish I could get a maß of this.
