BeerZack (116), Austin, Texas, USA May 4, 2008 Yellowish golden color that produces a half inch of bright white foam with a rough pour, leaves some lace.
Nice balanced pils malt, not too grainy, with spicy fresh grassy hops jumping off even when ice cold.
Pretty dry pils malt with very decent bittering hops throughout come together for a very crisp and slightly spicy Pilsener experience.
Strong but creamy impression from the carbonation, moderate body for style. Excellent standby on the quest for the perfect Pils.
Oakes (6793), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 19, 2008 Hazy gold. Herbal aroma with fresh bread accents. Bready palate - quite sweet, with herbal notes and a light bitterness. The finish is doughy, and only a little bit dry. troopie (444), USA Jul 13, 2008 Bottle. Poured gold with a thick white head. Light hoppy aroma with a tiny bit of citrus. Malt and hops flavour, nicely balanced. Lingering hop finish. A fine example of the style. Light enough in alcohol to be a session beer. Prosit! Pawola22 (36), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Jul 12, 2008 12 oz bottle from John’s Grocery.
Aroma: Tough to pick anything up, really. Not a lot going on, but a little sweet and honey. Bit of hops. Not overpowering.
Appearance: Light golden and clear. Light head that left quickly. Very bubbly and refreshing looking. The carbonation made me really thirsty stairing at it.
Flavor: Grainy, honey. Sweet and a little malty with lemony zest. Finishes sweet with a little bitter aftertaste.
Palate: Very light body with tons of carbonation.
Overall: Pretty drinkable. Kind of dull because I’m not a huge Pils fan, but the carbonation was awesome. Very refreshing and enjoyable. mansquito (576), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Jul 11, 2008 Golden yellow color with minimal white head. Mild aroma, though there is some grass and hops peeping through. Grassy, crisp taste. A little bitter. Some hops. A little on the dry side. Jukkabro (2307), Tampere, Finland Jul 5, 2008 Golden colored with little white head. Crispy hopped aroma, somehow biting and estery though. Medium bodied. Flavor is also dominated by hops and lemony fruits, same biting note here also. Aftertaste dries.
