4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This beer carried a sweet fruity armoa. I could smell the malt. It had a great (but not lasting) head and a deep mahogony color. A very beautiful glass of beer. It tastes of heavy malt with a good bit of yeastiness. The toasted flavor came out like the oven was in front of my face cooking a nice beer-malt muffin. Yep...in short...GOOD.

Reasonably priced taste great for its high alcohol content just one of my favorite brews that I can get at my local craft brew store without paying too much. But defiantly recommend atleast trying it once if your used to drinking commercial beer taste is like every one has described.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Nice dark ruby color, with a thick white foam. Aroma is caramel and dark fruits. Caramel flavor plus something else but I’m not sure what. Taste sweet at first, then evolve on some bitterness. Nice sweet finish.
It’s a good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a good, solid doppelbock. Aroma is of caramel, bread, earthiness, raisin, and nuts. Color is a little lighter than average for the style, more amber than dark. Head is quickly gone with little lacing. Lots of caramel and toffee flavors with a slight smokiness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, medium carbonation, long sweet finish. A well balanced brew that has stood the test of time, you gotta love the label!

En helt igennem fantastisk dobbeltbock. Den hører absolut til en af favoritøllene, ikke helt ulig vores egen Carsberg 47.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Brown-amber pour, clear, off white head doesnt last. Sweaty, musty nose, basment notes, earthy, leather, some caramel and some dark fruit. Burst of fruit in the flavour - prunes, raisins, touches of summer fruits, backed by caramel, some alcoholic tannin estery notes too. Nice. Light, quite thin body, low carbonation. Finish is short and fruity sweet, slightly warming. One of the better dopplebocks Ive had.

Excelente Ale, lúpulo mostra seu amargor durante toda a degusta, se deixar sobressair muito álcool. Há forte malte e um retrogosto de ameixa.

12oz.Btl. Pours brownish-red tint, heavy frothy head and fizzy. It’s strong malty taste pungent but tasty. The Aroma is of roasted nuts and slightly woody. Palate is Full body, fizzy and very live. Taste bitter, long and complex as with most Paulaner beers. Great Beer!
