Saarlander (1459), The Saarland, Germany Mar 6, 2006 An ok flavor to this one, very easy drinking for a weizen, usually I like weizen in the summer, this one is so light, and drinkable, that it looses all character, I might drink again at a soccer game or something, but would pass on it usually haukur (670), Reykjavik, Iceland Oct 1, 2005 well, this is the second attempt to rate a hefe-from-the-bottle beer. I dont beleive in this but here goes. A small head, piss golden colour. Taste is citric, a bit mild, but decent wheaty finish. Not at all bad dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany Sep 1, 2005 Bottled. Clear golden colour with not much of a head. Citric, wheaty aroma. Bland, watery taste with citric notes and a wheaty, slightly tart finish. Watery body. Ok, I think it would choose this over most other "Gold"-beers, but that doesn´t mean that this beer isn´t crap. MoritzF (3926), Ruhrpott, Germany Aug 31, 2005 (bottle) Clear golden colour with a small fast vanishing fizzy white head. Faint citrus aroma with cloves. Light bodied, watery malty taste, bland, fruity and slight clovy overcarbonated finish. An “all hat and no cattle”-brew. joss (3144), Garching b. München, Germany Aug 30, 2005 Bottle
Clear golden, low creamy head.
Light banana aroma.
Boring papery taste.
Lightbodied. A truly boring and uninspired brew.
