Bottle, thanks Allen. Light tart grainy note in the aroma. Amber, off-white lace. Good fruity start, light twist of lime, apples, slightly catty despite the low hop level. Medium to light body. Mellow finish.

(bottle, thanks to Allen !) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a blond and full-sized foamy head. Yeasty and moderately sweet malty aroma with discreet citrus-fruity and grainy notes, accompanied by slightly herbal and floral hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Yeasty, slightly grainy and fruity taste; rather dry, mildly sweet and bitter finish with a little fizz. Still a decent and refreshing Zwickel. 19.XII.09

bottle, herzlichen Dank Allen! Cloudy orange-brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of an English bitter. Medium-bodied, malty background, intensive hoppyness well integrated into the malt body. Hints of lemon and caramel. This one has an Altbier feel, and a touch of English Bitter in it.

Swing top bottle from Allen. Thanks! Orange blodne, cloudy. Soft orange aroma. Flowery, slightly yeasty and milky flavor with orange. Medium bodied at least. Quite drinkable kellerbier.

50 cl, bb Jul 09. Foggy, orange-amber with a lasting coaster of creamy bubbles on top. Aromas of earthy honeycomb, cereal, and lemon. Tastes of lightly tart citrus, grain and dry grass, with hints of berries. Light-medium body is almost creamy smooth, has some tongue-tingle from hops, and finishes dryish. Some spotty suds of lace. Thanks again to Allen!

courtesy of Allen - hazy blond coloured with a little persistant white foam; fair aroma of herbs, mango and peanuts; good malt body, subtle and regular carbonation; well-balanced and with a moderate bitterness; notes of lemon, oranges and herbs in a quite long finish - a very good brew

Bottled 50cl. 4.5 ABV. It pours a hazy orange beer with a small head. The nose is mainly of hops, gooseberries, lemon and orange. Good bitterness in the taste which is balanced by some sweetness. Surprisingly full bodied for a pale lager with 4.5 ABV. Not much lacework. Wonderful hop profile. Yeast, oranges, candy and lemon peel showing up. Hoppy finish with hints of orange, grapefruit and lemon peel. A great swiss beer. Flawless, perfectly balanced and extremely enjoyable. I’m impressed. Additional comment: Definetely a very good brew. Not a lager.
