Danke, Sebastian! Almost no head, despite lively carbonation in fully hazy orange beer. Bit sourish grain nose, faint traces of oxidation. Very dry, almost wry flavour, dull-fruity, but most of all grainy and wheat. Faint esters, but generally dull. Thin body, in line with the absence of head, heavy CO² activity in the beer. Somehow, I get an overpowering impression of homebrew... The label must represent the absolute minimum of info (how about gluten, or what brewery, f.i.?). On the positive side, no trace of excessive sweetness.

Bottled 50cl. The nose is rather strong. Some glue sneaking in - otherwise rather pleasant. Quite a lot of nutmeg in the taste. Some bitterness. All the typical Hefeweizen attributes with cork, crackers and coriander showing up. Sweet. Nicely balanced. Slightly acidic. There is quite a lot of complexity to this beer. Different. Surprisingly dry finish. I enjoyed this beer.

courtesy of Hansruedi Giger - cloudy golden-yellow colour with a big white foamy head; very perfumy aroma with notes of corn, lemon and spices; medium-bodied and with a high carbonation; some tart acidity but some sweetness too; the aftertaste is corny, dry and perfumy but quite flat - weird and chaotic
