1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Ungstrup (22911) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 12, 2005
A light amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet dusty, while the flavor is sweet and with primary notes of straw. It is missing acidity for the style - it seems a bit old.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Papsoe (21782) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2005
(Bottle 25 cl) Dark amber coloured with a red glow and a small off-white head. Slight acidic nose but overall very malt accentuated - some roasted malt - with a small lingering tartness. This is much softer and sweeter than what I usually associate witrh a Flemish sour. Closer to an Abbey Dubbel actually, although without the body, without the power. But a very nice beer indeed. 200299

Bottled. Dark amber. Vingegary nose. Flowery and yeasty with clean mouthfeel and light body. Pleasant up front, but the flavour is short, and the finish non-existant.

Deep amber with red glimts and tiny off white glimts. Aroma was sweet and had roasted malt, berries and mild sourness. Flavour was initially sweet but came out sourish. Found roasted malt and berries as well.
