On draft in el central de Cambrils. Great reddish color very clean and transparent, with a considerable head. Poured in the original glass! The aroma is clearly Belgian, deep sweet and honey. The taste is in the same line, but rather soft. Great palate too, not too bubbly neither too flat. Not much aftertaste, at least nothing of the bitterness I like.. Good overall anyway!

Fruity with a hints of spice and caramel aroma. Flavor is little fruity with caramelized sugar sweetness, smooth mouth feel and a little bit of bitterness at the end. Mellow finish.

-at beer house, joburg- first of all. I must be subjective here, the glass sure could add a few points. :-D caramel with huge head. Aroma is caramel, spice and citrus. Nice fruity palate. Aftertaste is caramel, spice, round and lingering smooth spicy finish. Overall: an excellent Belgian! Nice and fruity, well hidden alcohol. Very smooth.

Drank from a strangely shaped glass. The beer has a sweet, caramel taste. There’s also the typical Belgian taste there too.

Cuerpo medi-pleno y carbonatación moderada a moderadamente alta. 330ml bottle served in its own unfooted Yard glass. Brigh deep amber color & ruby tints to the light. Chill haze appearance. Beige froth creates a close crown & shows fairly good retention. Ripe fruit, grape, raisin, cinnamon, spiced, sugar, toasted malt & alcoholic – solvent-like hues- aromas Sweet, spicy, spiced & warm at first sip. Medium to full body. Moderate to moderately high carbonation. Dense & dried mouthfeel. Fruity –peach & ripe apricot-, candy & herbal flavors join low bitterness – just to keep it the balance-. Sweet finish. Long fruity aftertaste with sour almonds memories. Well balanced & flavorful beer.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2014 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 11.2oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label lists the abv at 8.4% abv.Appearance: This is a very hazy beer with a brownish tan color and a quick fading off white head. A quick swirl is needed to keep some foam on top. Lacing is minimal and very slick. Smell: Right up front there is a big raisin like fruity sweetness. This is backed up by bready yeast and malt notes.Taste / Palate: Now on the tongue the bready Belgian yeast notes hop out first. Dark fruit, raisins, plums and apples move in with sweet maltiness. In the middle there is an attempt by the hops to come out and play but the yeast notes and malt notes and now some sweet boozy notes hold out and finish strong. The body feels smooth with lots of fine carbonation. Just right for a big Belgian Ale.
