Poured from a bomber into a snifter brown amber with a thin light beige head;
Aroma of brown sugar malted booze.
Flavor is excellent spiced rich in figs & coriander. Thinking malted dark fruits with a touch of barnyard funk.

Dark amber color with white short-lasting head. Bready and yeasty aroma, with malts and toasted candy. Although it is a 8,4% alcohol, taste is not alcoholic whatsoever, with some fruity and malty notes, with some spices. Aftertaste has a slighty hoppy note.

It is probably one of my favorite beers. Drank it again in Sparrow, the craft beer pub in Bradford. What a glass. Pour amber color with a nice size of head. It is a very yeasty and bready however you can also feel sweetness. The beer is a quite mild and you would never say that it has strength of 8%. Pauwel Kwak is a quite expensive here in Yorkshire however I enjoyed it in a pub in Paris last month where the price of Kwak was around 20 % cheaper than commercial lagers like Stella ☺

330ml bottle. Clear amber pour with a nice head. Aroma is a bit muted. Orange and caramel malt standing out, light herbal notes. Taste starts out with the elements from the aroma but takes on a very interesting spicy and yeasty dimension. Creamy mouthfeel. A bit more interesting than I expected.

Buona. Schiuma densa morbida e persistente. Sapore forte e deciso. Forse troppo gassy ma decisamente interessante.

Bottle. Can’t believe I haven’t gotten around this until now, but such is life. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a moderate off-white head that disappears quickly. Nose is bready and with the traditional Belgian yeasty notes to it, as well as some sweetened hard candy. Taste has a bit of sweetness up front and on the back end, but some sour fruit elements in the middle. Good brew, just not my favorite flavor profile.

Stupenda birra, dalla storia da conoscere (soprattutto quella del suo caratteristico bicchiere). Fortemente maltata e un po’ speziata. Corpo strutturato
