Initial taste of malts and ended with a refreshing light aftertaste that taste a little lemony. Very good summer beer. honomugym (1), , Indiana, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 28, 2009 full bodied ale.nice and foamy.brown colored with light sweet taste, good malty character.full flavor belgian ale. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 27, 2009 Hmmmm, Belgian strong? probably weak in it’s category. Yes this beer has a high ABV and yes it is made in belgium but this is nothing like anything well known. Aroma is fruity almost soapy filled with raspberries, nuts and good malts. The color is a troubled amber color rather cloudy. Taste is sweet, tangy, cherries, raspberries and good hops with semi sweet malts. Deliciously smooth alcohol-wise, only a bit too sparkling for my taste. A good capital O Original pick. drowland (1448), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 19, 2009 750ml Bottle (at 8.4%ABV): Aroma of sugar, caramel, slight nuts, slight toffee, light malts, and a little must. Poured orange amber in color with a medium to large-sized dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of malts, skunk, light nuts, light herbs, light caramel, diacetyl, slight toffee, and sugars. Light to medium body. Slick, oily texture. Average carbonation. Malt, and caramel finish is boring. 8%ABV is well hidden. Krasulak (63), Wapadrand, Pretoria, South Africa
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 19, 2009 An amber beer, clear (no floating yeast) with creamy head. The aroma is sweet, malty with a touch of caramel and yeast. Flavour is malty sweet with notes of caramel and almond. Finish islingering malty and yeasty, well balanced - not overly sweet. Kwak is not really complex but very pleasant. phage (2), Florida, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 14, 2009 First impression is the spicy smell of the head from its unique glass. It is a nice and light Belguim. Notes: amber, clear, frothy, medium sweetness, medium body, thin feel, soft carbonation (after pour), long finish, lightly sour anders37 (4796), Malmö, Sweden
