Pours beautiful amber with big beige head. Aroma is fruity with plums and raisins and malty with caramel. Taste is sweet and syrupy with lots of spices. Caramel, slight bitterness. Alcohol very well hidden. Very good.

Clear caramel redish color with strong off whit foam. Aromas of grains and malt, sugar, oranges and caramel. Palate, full body, meadium sticky/ caramely texture that covers whole mouth and leaves sugary sweet finish. Taste is very sweet and sugary/caramel-y. has this subtile alcohol hints at the back of the mouth but in general sweet malty beer. Overall, this tasting experience is way more fun from their wacky glasses that makes it more interesting (for me). As a beer bit on the stronger side I would say but sweeter than I thought. nice colors and aromas along with taste, pretty good I would say and would recomend!

Amber color clear beer, white small bubbles head (not too much and dont last too long, but I’ve used trappist glass, pretty wide). Aroma: sweet belgian fruits esters (peach, banana), caramel, biscuit, slightly alcoholy. Taste: light to medium sweet, biscuity/caramely flavours and belgian esters again. Palate: medium body, dry, alcoholy (it’s nice, warming up alcohol, but strongly present). Low carbonation. Overall: good beer, too much alcohol on the finish. Without it, it would be extremely drinkable.

Bottle, 0.33l. Copper color, suprisingly average head. Clear. Aroma: some grass, dates, raisins, caramel. In flavor. Full body. More on sweet side. In flavor date, honey notes. Overall: very good beer. Probably, my favorite brewery.

Delicious, Served in a black 25 oz bottle. This belgian brew pours a dark amber, the head is a thin lace of tan that sticks to the glass. The smell is orange peels, vanilla, and honey. As I let this beer warm up a little from the fridge more flavors and aromas began to come out. The taste of this beer is smoothe and creamy. It tastes of honey, fruit (banana and grapes), it is sweet but not overwhelming. I definatly recommend this beer. It would pair well with a grilled steak to contrast some of the fruity flavors, as well as a bananas foster to help bring out some of the banana and caramel flavors in the beer.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2010 Bottle. Pours with large light brown head and dark amber color for the body. Body is hazy and lacing is strong. Aromas of flowers, bananas, cherry, and roasted malts. Creamy texture with a nice palate that results in a rather long duration. Sticky finish with a very pleasing aftertaste. Tastes of bananas, cherry, and hints of raisin. Much better bottle than I had the last time I rated this beer, although I had aged this bottle around 2 years. Highly recommend buying a few and putting them away!

LAHEV - Pro mě asi největší zklamaní, hořkost nevýrazná , vůně pro mě odpudivá, ale zase před tim jsem pil jiné pivo, musím někdy ozkoušet znovu a možná přehodnotit.

Not as richly alcoholic as I might have preferred, yielding to a caramely sweetness that could have used some carbonation to temper it. One dimensional and blah. Perhaps better out of the cool tall Belgian glass.
