4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a nice deep orange-light brown. Smells of clove and bread in the malt. Wow..a little overpowering with the alcohol. Tastes more like 11%. Warms the insides and tingles the ears. Definetly a sipping brew.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
0.75L bottle forgotten in the cellar for a few years too many (3.5, according to the label), but still pretty fine and slightly carbonated. Pours unclear orange amber, no head because of the age. The aroma is strongly yeasty and fruity, with some notes of nuts, caramel, plums and dark fruits, spices, alcohol. The taste is medium sweet, light bitter. Very smooth palate, creamy, sticky.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a ruby-like body, with an average white head that diminishes slowly, leaving a good lace. Mostly malty and roasted aroma, medium to heavy sweet and light bitter taste. Excessive carbonation level, oily texture, light to medium body. For itís price here, itís a rather mediocre beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
got it at a bar in brugge mostly because of curiosity - the glass is the coolest thing about this. the whole time i thought i was drinking an amber ale and not a belgian strong, it was good though, perhaps a little too sweet, but a nice change of pace from other belgian beers

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Hazy reddish-amber with a small head. Aroma is bready caramel malt. Flavor is basically sweet. Medium feel, average carbonation, small aftertaste. Decent but not spectacular.
