Sweet, roasted notes are the dominant flavors of this thin-bodied beer. Enjoyable, but the alcohol is very noticeable.

Dark orange color, just barely offwhite head with lots of big bubbles on bottom and egg white tiny bubbles on the top. Aroma of orange, caramel, yeast, dried fruit; similar taste with creamy finish, spice, flowers, a bit of alcohol, lots of dried fruit, quite dry.

Cor âmbar com tons rubi e translúcida; espuma bege de alta formação e média persistência; bom lacing;
Aroma de pão-doce e melaço;

Någon tomhet i sena eftersmaken.

Not bad. Has a bit of butterscotch and yeast in the nose. Pours out to a cloudy amber-gold color with finely beaded white head. Starts out with some toffee-like malty sweetness and ends with a light alcohol sensation. A few light fruit and spice notes, but nothing strong.

Very nice beer, was served in a pub in a Kwak glass (which looks like something from a lab)

75 cl. bottle. I did not get to try it in the fancy glass. Hazy amber color. Generous off white. Sweet malt and some alcohol in the aroma. Belgian yeast characteristics are present yet subtle. A little sweetness in the flavor that dries out out finishes off a little spicy. Some alcohol warming as it goes. Pretty tasty beer with a nice warming effect.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
The pour is full and lively - copper color with a full rocky head and silky lace. Head retention is poor, although a fine layer remains throughout. The aroma is bready, yeast, malt, fruity esters, cherries, clove, musty (or dank) and some bubblegum in the background. The taste is sweet and malty at the start with no surprising hop bitterness or bite. The Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with low effervescence.
IMHO: A very drinkable beer with well-balanced characteristics. The character changes noticeably with warming, more complexity develops.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Kwak glass.
Well, it’s really a rich experience. But it’s not one of the best bière Belge for sure. We’re in front of a nice blond/amber beer, with a deep colour and taste. The aroma is nice, stay long in mouth. Pretty nice head tho !
Drink it !
