Amber to light brown in color. Small off white head with good steady lacing. Nice malty aroma. Malty in flavor and on palate. Good Belgian.

A gift shared with friends. Pours amber with a frothy white head that lingers. Carmelly, toffee, malty sweetness, no hops. Smooth medium mouthfeel. A nice easy to drink Belgian Special Ale.

Nice example of a Belgian ale. Satisfyingly rounded deep complex taste. One for a winter evening in as a warming ale.

This beer pulled an amazing 180 on me when I had it with food. Alone, I was unimpressed, but with a meal its slight sweetness became crisp and very enjoyable. If you've tried this one and found it less than perfect, try it again with a hearty meal.

Nice light brown to rust pour. Hard to characterize this ale. Nice laced head with a sweet malty aroma. I think I like their Karmeliet so much I was expecting something different. It’s a fine ale with sweet malt and dark fruit tones. Nice mouth feel. Enjoyable, but not extraordinary. Balanced but a bit thinner than other Belgian strong ales.

Maybe,Dark red brown pour with a foamy head. Lots of vanilla/chocolate caramel syrupy flavors. Plum pudding. Rasin pie. Pecan pralines. Rich red syrupy goodness. Tastes like a meal, or at least a rich desert. Still has a nice delicate smoothness.

Clear amber colored beer with a soft flavour that brings to mind nougat and hints of caramilized bananas.

Very rich and heady. Not one that I would drink often. No hop. Drank from a glass and bottle. Glass heavily preffered. Dough, woody
