Full-bodied Belgian Specialty Ale. Amber in color with beautiful foam and slightly sweet, seductive malt character. Rich, satisfying Belgian experience.

Bright copper in colour. Super head which was frothy yet had much texture (although didnít last). If you let this beer linger slightly in your mouth you will pick up a most wonderful toffee flavour. Quite hoppy for a beer of this nature as well. Kind of reminded me of Hoegaarden Forbidden Fruit only better all round. Very impressed.

First off the story alone for the glass is great. Pours an amber color with a white head. The nose has hints of a sweetness, malt and apricot. The flavor is a sweet malty raisin, a touch of stone fruit/plum, toffee. Overall a really delicious beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - clear reddy bronze, only small head. Strong aroma - slight ting on tongue. Smooth, rich, full bodied with sweet finish. Alcoholic but not overally tasting. Ok.

Aroma is pungent caramel. Pours with little head. A very nice taste, well-balanced, excellent beer.

Excellent belgian ale. Beautiful colour. Has a medium sweet flavour to it, not as sweet as La Chouffe. Donít forget to take the glass and holder home with you.

Sweet, roasted notes are the dominant flavors of this thin-bodied beer. Enjoyable, but the alcohol is very noticeable.

Dark orange color, just barely offwhite head with lots of big bubbles on bottom and egg white tiny bubbles on the top. Aroma of orange, caramel, yeast, dried fruit; similar taste with creamy finish, spice, flowers, a bit of alcohol, lots of dried fruit, quite dry.

Aromat i smak dość odmienne - zapach belgijski, nieco alkoholowy, triplowy. Smak złożony, lekko karmelowy, słodowy i landrynkowy. Bardzo ciekawy. Piana niska, barwa bursztynowo-miedziana, przyjemny posmak. Bardzo dobre belgijskie piwo.

Amber color clear beer, white small bubbles head (not too much and dont last too long, but Iíve used trappist glass, pretty wide). Aroma: sweet belgian fruits esters (peach, banana), caramel, biscuit, slightly alcoholy. Taste: light to medium sweet, biscuity/caramely flavours and belgian esters again. Palate: medium body, dry, alcoholy (itís nice, warming up alcohol, but strongly present). Low carbonation. Overall: good beer, too much alcohol on the finish. Without it, it would be extremely drinkable.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Kwak glass. Well, itís really a rich experience. But itís not one of the best biŤre Belge for sure. Weíre in front of a nice blond/amber beer, with a deep colour and taste. The aroma is nice, stay long in mouth. Pretty nice head tho ! Drink it !
