Full-bodied Belgian Specialty Ale. Amber in color with beautiful foam and slightly sweet, seductive malt character. Rich, satisfying Belgian experience.

Excellent belgian ale. Beautiful colour. Has a medium sweet flavour to it, not as sweet as La Chouffe. Don’t forget to take the glass and holder home with you.

Sweet, roasted notes are the dominant flavors of this thin-bodied beer. Enjoyable, but the alcohol is very noticeable.

Dark orange color, just barely offwhite head with lots of big bubbles on bottom and egg white tiny bubbles on the top. Aroma of orange, caramel, yeast, dried fruit; similar taste with creamy finish, spice, flowers, a bit of alcohol, lots of dried fruit, quite dry.

Not bad. Has a bit of butterscotch and yeast in the nose. Pours out to a cloudy amber-gold color with finely beaded white head. Starts out with some toffee-like malty sweetness and ends with a light alcohol sensation. A few light fruit and spice notes, but nothing strong.

75 cl. bottle. I did not get to try it in the fancy glass. Hazy amber color. Generous off white. Sweet malt and some alcohol in the aroma. Belgian yeast characteristics are present yet subtle. A little sweetness in the flavor that dries out out finishes off a little spicy. Some alcohol warming as it goes. Pretty tasty beer with a nice warming effect.

Pours dark amber with short beige head. Sweet and fruity aroma, dried fruits and caramel. Tastes sweet, alcoholic and light bitterness at the end. Medium body and average carbonation. Nice belgian ale!

hints of chocolate malt and spicy alcohol with light floral hop aromas. dark golden/light amber colouration, head dispersed quickly. sweet caramel and spicy complexity with light floral hop flavours. thin body with sharp spiciness and dry lightly bitter finish. very enjoyable beer.

The pour is full and lively - copper color with a full rocky head and silky lace. Head retention is poor, although a fine layer remains throughout. The aroma is bready, yeast, malt, fruity esters, cherries, clove, musty (or dank) and some bubblegum in the background. The taste is sweet and malty at the start with no surprising hop bitterness or bite. The Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with low effervescence. IMHO: A very drinkable beer with well-balanced characteristics. The character changes noticeably with warming, more complexity develops.

Very special one. Best enjoyed in one of the characteristic glasses. Some sweet tones here and there.

Carbonation intensely wanted out of both bottles I tried. Flavor was spicy, tangy, fruity, malty and strong. Color was deep, rich red/brown. Liked it so much I had to have a second at Flying Pie Pizza.
