Full-bodied Belgian Specialty Ale. Amber in color with beautiful foam and slightly sweet, seductive malt character. Rich, satisfying Belgian experience.

Good beer. Interesting glass they have. When poured into a glass it is probably one of the best looking beers I have ever seen.

I found this beer somewhat mediocre. Hints of banana were pretty interesting though but the smell was slightly industrial.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Misty golden brown with a light tan head, a sweet malt nose, this strong ale has a surprisingly clean finish with little bitterness despite the high alcohol content. A real winner.

750 mL bottle. Pours burnt orange with a one finger off white head into a tulip. Aroma of typical Belgian yeast, light spice, apricots, bready malts, grass. Very yeasty flavor, apricots are the only fruit noticeable. Bready malt, flavor has a chewy aspect to it. Slight spicy (not clove). Light to medium bodied with a frothy mouthfeel and a low-medium level of carbonation. Not overly complex, but quite tasty and refreshing.

this beer looks just how a belgian style ale should look, misty and a brown amber, the taste follows very nicely

Clássica breja belga, com seu copo característico. Essa golden Strong ale tem cor cobre, com aroma furtado intenso. No paladar, notas de pao, frutas amarelas, cravo, algo cítrico. Corpo denso, final frutado, alcoólico e duradouro. Ótima breja! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle, clear amber color, medium white head, caramel and yeast aroma with spices and raisins notes, sweet malt flavor, medium to full body, finish with some hops, pleasant and balanced but standard belgian ale

UPDATED: APR 19, 2011 33cl bottle poured in the authentic Kwak glass. Clear sparkling amber color with a beige head that leaves some very nice lacing. The pouring is art itself when you see the head settle and the beer rising. Beatiful! Aroma is full of fine malts with some caramel. Taste is very malty with a nice banana and a caramel taste. In the end there is some little bitterness. The mouthfeel is great and is very soft with good carbonisation. Very nice brew!
