Bottle. Pours amber, medium head. Nice fruity flavor with a crisp hoppy touch and that special yeasty belgian character. A little too sweet in my opinion.

bottle@bar: I find the glass to be way cooler than the beer itself, the glass is really a big part of the experience, sweet malts, caramel, some spice, brown, sugar, raisins, slightly bitter, the focus is on the caramel & malt, medium body

The novalty of the glass ruins the fine aroma and taste of this Belgium beer. It poors with a thick head butt has a great after taste.

corked 750ml bottle from City Concorde, Bertrange, Luxembourg!
The beer is amber colored, slightly cloudy, with fine, small and durable foam! Smells very caramelly malty, slightly bitter hoppy. Starts malty and bitter, with lots of caramel in the background. The middle part shows a pleasant hop aroma, which also turn out very bitter. The finish is malty caramelly, again very bitter, with light hop notes. Very intense and delicious beer!

330 ml bottle. From Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Clear amber colour with average size off-white head. Caramel malt and spices in aroma. Strong sweet caramel, strong maltiness, spices and alcohol in flavour. Alcohol warms. Half the fun is the strange glass but I didnt have that...

Amber in color with a thin beige head that quickly diminishes. Floral hop aroma with a medium sweet malty taste. Alcohol is hidden really well. Nice filling sticky finish.

Bottle at home. Golden redbrown colour with a beige head that is not very lasting. A lot of sweet malt in the nose, along with sweet biscuits, caramel and raisin. Flavours of leather, oak and some fruity sweetness in this. Some alcohol towards the end. A very pleasant belgian ale, but not as special as I expected.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2012 Honestly this is a pretty forgettable beer. Not worth the price but if you are bored give it a try
