Full-bodied Belgian Specialty Ale. Amber in color with beautiful foam and slightly sweet, seductive malt character. Rich, satisfying Belgian experience.

Iím not that crazy about this one but it could be that the Belgian Strong Ales are not my cup of tea. The aroma is of toasted dates and the head is not holding. This is being enjoyed in a goblet so the aroma and taste of a Belgian should be accentuated. The first impression of the taste is dark Belgian candy sugar...very sweet. It does finish with a nice light tartness but follows with an alcohol aftertaste is subtle but noticeable.

Tap-served in Kwak Coachman glass, with timber stand. Small white frothy (mostly dissapating) head. Sparkling clear amber body. Good lacing. Aromas were overall somewhat mild. Molasses, vanilla, and something that I would describe as "German-like". Flavor is sweet through and through. Didnít notice much as far as hops. Medium bodied. Watery textured. Flat carbonation. A bit too sweet for me...but if you like sweet, this is an awesome brew.

Pretty amber for a nelgian strong ale, has a big foamy baige head. Usual strong notes of fruit yeast and alchohold in the aomra, not too complex though. Has some honney desert sweetness in the flavor along with the warming alchohol. An OK beer, not exeptional

Fruity pear sugary aroma, yikes, my glass is filled with a ton of globules, bottle had been stored upright, taste is fairly nice, caramelly, mildly sweet finish, you actually hardly notice the gunk in the mouthfeel, still the sight of them are a turnoff

33 cL bottle. Aroma of caramel malt. Orangey amber color with fine bubbles, and an off-white head that laced a little. Medium body with mild, almost creamy, carbonation. There is instant heat, a light touch of darker fruits, and moderate caramel sweetness. Itís beautiful, but not so complex as many.

Bottle. Hazy copper. Yeasty, fruity aroma. Unusual taste, rather peppery, with a spicy alcohol warmth.
