It’s nice! And the carriage glass it’s served in is ace. If you fancy strong Belgian ales you’ll love it. If you don’t, why do you have a rate beer account in the first place? Exactly.

330ml bottle courtesy of my sister-in-law and man in Northern Ireland. Deep amber beer, served in the traditional Kwak glass. Sweet taste - very drinkable, but very strong. Would go well with crisps or nuts.

Bottle from Juustukuningad in Tallinn (€ 3). BB 11.2015. Light creamy head on top of a near clear coppery amber colour body. Head was massive but dropped fast. The aroma is spicy and sugary sweet, notes of bubblegum, caramel, malts, alcohol... Taste very caramelly, much too sweet for my liking, with a considerable zing of alcohol. Body medium, carbonation seems flat at first but shows some prickliness when swallowing. Perhaps served it too warm this time - can’t really get much enjoyment out of this. Should rate it again when served cooler and perhaps from its own glass.

an excellent beer. reddish clear amber color and a full bodied aroma of buttery melded malts. The flavor has a good kick to it with a sweet malt flavor and a slight fizz mouth feel.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2014 Uitgeschonken in origineel Pauwel Kwak glas.

Monday is over & it’s time for a beer. This one is a lot like the others of its style, with just a little more of the candy store effect on. Don’t believe me?Dig that crazy dubble bubble aroma when you pour. The sips bring hints of cinnamon, berry, candy apple, spices, herbal hops & more bubble gum. Alcohol is very stealthy. Too much candy makes this a little one dimensional.

330ml bottle. Clear copper with a foamy off-white head. Flavors are red fruits, caramel and sweet malts with nutty and spicy notes. Light to medium body, good carbonation, slick texture. Incredibly drinkable considering the ABV.

Red/brown color. Weak arouma, light body with good carbonation. Had a slightly metallic finish with spicy overtones, and the alcohol was well masked.
