Bottle at The Bishop’s Arms, Järntorget, Göteborg, Sweden. Amber with a good, white head. Yeasty caramel to the nose. Sweet taste. Smooth mouthfeel.

(Bottle). Sweet fruity caramel aroma. Beautiful reddish color with a substantial light tan head. Flavor thankfully refrains from overpowering sweetness. Nice blend of fruity complexity, with a relatively mild finish. Good stuff.

A very good ale. As stated, the aroma is mildly fuity and pleasant, and while it’s not a very complex beer, it’s inmensely enjoyable, straight-forward and satisfying. The taste is very reminiscent of caramel and I even felt some apple both in the nose and in the taste. It felt very smooth overall. It’s a winner!

Bottle. Hazy reddish-amber with a small head. Aroma is bready caramel malt. Flavor is basically sweet. Medium feel, average carbonation, small aftertaste. Decent but not spectacular.

Bottle 33cl. It pours a beautiful red/brown clear colour, with a good size head, drink this in the proper glass and it looks even better. Aroma is of malts, raisins and apple, very complex, but can be defined pretty well if you just take your time. Taste is also very good and complex, could detect raisins, spices and a slight trace of grapefruit. Overall a very enjoyable beer.

I useta own the infamous Kwak yard glass and stand device. So ive chugged Kwak @ least 17 times. I broke said glass so I’m drinking this from a Duvel glass.
I know you’re meant to try act all sophisticated and "savour" these beers or some shit but I can’t help but drink these things quickly and as if prohibition is a soon reality .
This is a very enjoyable , solid strong Belgian . My bottle is stronger than listed on this site . Mines 8.4 %- not that misely 8 % ABV.
Kwak’s flavours are nice with a smooth vibe ,the booze is masked like a conspiracy. Its got lots of body. First sips I get caramelly textures and a dry gumb like wheatiness . There’s fruit esters like banana .Kinda a dry phenolic feel . This is flavoursome & Sinkable.
