Full-bodied Belgian Specialty Ale. Amber in color with beautiful foam and slightly sweet, seductive malt character. Rich, satisfying Belgian experience.

Bottle. The pour was a sparkling clear light to medium brown with a large (3-4 finger) off white frothy head that was mostly diminishing and produced poor lacing. The aroma was very sweet and hoppy with a sweet bread malt, a nice floral hop and a sweet earthy yeast and had notes of caramel, dried dark fruit (raisons and plums) and a strong alcohol presence. The taste was right off the bat, sweet, malty and a tad acidic with a strong caramel note. The flavor then progressed to be a little acetic with a nice dose of dried fruit with the end having a rather strong alcohol flavor that was left lingering for a nice duration after the swallow. Mouthfeel was somewhere between light and medium in body with a dice dry texture and a prickly carbonation. Overall a nice bold tasting Ale with some really nice malt characteristics that you can only get from a really decent Belgian brew.

330ml bottle served in a Belgian snifter. Pours clear, red-brown with a generous sized tan head that soon reduces to a thin and irregular coat. Nonetheless, the glass is nicely sheeted when tipped. Aroma: dark fruits with a trace of very ripe banana. Lightly spicy. Flavor: dark fruits with a trace of very ripe bananas and cherries. Faintly spicy. Feel: a strong point. medium+ but soft carbonation. Medium-full body. Dry and light at mid-taste. O: a fine Belgian ale but bettered by a good number of competitors.

A copper-colored beer that has a caramel-sweetness taste and aroma. It's a delicious beer worth trying, and buying again - but drinking it too often might get cloying.

Excelente. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A color of reddish amber with a very little head. Aruma has plenty of caramel and syrup with some ripe and dried fruitiness - gives a very sweet impression, overall. Taste is very sweet initially but not cloyingly and there is some balancing bitterness in the finish. Ripe fruitiness and caramel maltiness dominate the taste. The palate is medium bodied and texture a bit sticky. Alcohol does not appear. Sweetness is not very subtle but the drinkability is seductively easy, as the palate is not as full bodied as in some Belgians. Well, this is certainly sweet, but fortunately some balancing notes appear too.

Bottle sampled at Classic City Brew Fest 2014. Pours a copper color with moderate off-white head. Aroma is malty sweetness and Belgian fruity esters. Taste is more towards the malt, alcohol well hidden. Solid beer.
