3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20Bottle. The pour was a sparkling clear light to medium brown with a large (3-4 finger) off white frothy head that was mostly diminishing and produced poor lacing.
The aroma was very sweet and hoppy with a sweet bread malt, a nice floral hop and a sweet earthy yeast and had notes of caramel, dried dark fruit (raisons and plums) and a strong alcohol presence.
The taste was right off the bat, sweet, malty and a tad acidic with a strong caramel note. The flavor then progressed to be a little acetic with a nice dose of dried fruit with the end having a rather strong alcohol flavor that was left lingering for a nice duration after the swallow.
Mouthfeel was somewhere between light and medium in body with a dice dry texture and a prickly carbonation.
Overall a nice bold tasting Ale with some really nice malt characteristics that you can only get from a really decent Belgian brew.

Dark copper, hints of mahogany, foamy off-white head that starts large and fizzes away. Cherries, cassis, cola, cough syrup, molasses, grain, nutmeg and leathery musty yeast in the aroma - class. Sweet and sticky in the flavour, with notes of Lyles golden syrup and bursting with tight carbonation. Finish is sweet and spicy, with some warming alcohol.

Trinity Hall - This is a great beer if you can find it. Trinity Hall serves it in a long glass with a round bottom and a wooden stand.

Pours clear amber with medium head. Aroma is caramel notes, malts, raisin and fruits. Flavor is malts, banana, yeast, caramel, alcohol. Bittert palate, not so sweet.

330ml tap@Il Santo Brevitore with Camilla&Kirsti. Pours a bronze coloured body with big head and fair lacing. Honey, bread, caramel and some reisin. Mirrored also in taste, but also some pepper and honey. The girls tried it and was excited! Alcohol well hidden. 16.05.13

330 ml bottle from LCBO. Now, this is good! Pours a deep ambour colour with a medium creamy head. Aromas of malt, liquorice.

Poured a medium amber with a huge white head which rapidly diminishes. Aroma of caramel malt over sweet dark fruit (raisin, plum). Medium body, flavour is sweet dark fruit with a bitter/sweet end.
