GonZoBeeR (1989), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada May 13, 2006 Aroma:light sour aroma from apple...
Appearance:light yellow color....
Flavor:watery, dry, light sour from apple.... MartinT (4307), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 16, 2005 A light yellow-y water offers bright brettanomyces funkiness and green wood...I really don’t know if this is what they wanted, but it is not disagreeable...Light bubbles of natural carbonation in this still cider create a weak feel, and do not meld with the tart finish...Unique, that’s for sure... muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Apr 28, 2005 750 ml bottle shared with Capflu, Goldorak, beerbuzzmontreal, Boutip and DumDum at the Ciderwinder tasting in Ottawa. Hazy ligth amber...a bit funky and earthy...cat urine someone says and I concur...watery body, earthy tones are nice but there’s a corked, vinegary quality that isn’t pleasant at all. I wonder if we had a bad bottle, as there is evident interest buried somewhere in it... Goldorak (424), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 26, 2005 Yet another cider with the word Glace, but this is not a Cidre de Glace, or Ice cider. The website says that it’s matured one year...in glass? What good is that going to do?
Golden translucent, a tad oily texture.
This is certainly an intersting one to smell...Funky, catty even I would say! I could also discern a little leather.
A little thin, dry, those who like ciders not too sweet may enjoy, but I thought the finish was too light, and tasted a little ammonia, maybe that’s what they use to clean the glass casks! beerbuzzmontreal (2697), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 26, 2005 Pours a hazy light gold color. Very interesting aroma of funk and earthy yeast. Nice flavor of leather, earthy yeast, funk and apples.
