Bottle. Hazy orange with almost no head. Aroma - citrus fruits and caramel. Taste - rough bitterness, many off-flavors, pretty bland with faint caramel and bread in the background, no hoppy flavors at all, unpleasant aftertaste. I hope it’s just a bad batch.

Bottle in Tel Aviv, July 2013. Hazy orange/amber with a medium head. Very light notes of hops and fruit in this one. Dull and boring.

Tap sample at the brewery. Pours clear rusty amber with a thick white head. Flowery, tropical aroma, bitter taste, a little malty and old hops. Light body, fizzy, malty finish.

Tap sample at the brewery. Clear copper color with a small white head. Light fruity hop nose, with some grains and floral notes. Nutty flavors, with caramel, pleasant maltiness, soft marmalade and lo-med bitterness. OK dryness and a decent English Pale Ale.

Rerate. My initial taste of this was right after the brewery opened, and it was not good. I thought that with a year’s time, and (rumor has it) a new head brewer, it was time to try it again. Big off-white head over hazy to opaque amber honey body. Citrus aroma. Decent bitterness upfront with some bread and then some leather/chemical flavor. A very strange (and not altogether pleasant) aftertaste.

Bottle chaired by omhper, thanks. Thinn and short white lace. Litle clowdy orange color. Strange aroma of ciggar and old brusselsproute. Thinn taste and body.

Murky-looking amber with no head. Looked a bit better at the brewery on draught, but these notes are from the bottle. The aroma is mostly dull and metallic. Dull character, with no real hop. Just bland, with vaguely caramelly malts. Disappointed me both on tap and from the bottle - there are some issues that need to be worked out even without getting into the whole "no hops" thing. Later re-rates proved cleaner, but it’s just not a great beer.

Bottled, thanks Oakes & Beershine! Hazy copper colour, small head. Slight gooseberry aroma. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel and light-medium body. Some caramel, not that much hop aroma. Mid-bitter finish. Simplistic, but not bad.

Draught at the brewpub, almost no head, clear light reddish colour, strong skunky aroma with somemetal soap and stale bread, flavour of bread and nuts with some skunk, almost no bitterness which is something the beer dearly needs and in generous amounts, light sweetish nose. Bad. BTW - This is not an IPA.
