HoopsandHops (19) - ISRAEL - DEC 7, 2013
Bottle in Tel Aviv. Exp date: 7/2014. Pours a deep amber/crimson with one-finger frothy head that’s very quick to settle. Quite a bit of yeast at base of bottle. Carbonation in the glass is active. Malt-forward aroma with yeast but weak -- Cola and carrot cake. Taste is sweet -- maple syrup, Medjool dates, some ripe peach, cinnamon, tea. Finishes with faint cardamom-like bitterness. Rich on the palate with a nice lingering quality. I’m not detecting any of the 9% ABV. Carbonation and body are medium. Warms nicely. A good, tasty, well-crafted beer.

On-tap. Pours clear amber with a small head. Sweet fruity aroma (peaches, banana) with caramel and spicy notes. Taste - light sweetness with fruity undertones, dry finish, mild bitter aftertaste, alcohol is well hidden, smooth texture. Though not very complex, pleasant and easy to drink tripel.

[Thanks to tomer]. Bottled. brown colour with an off-white head with minimal duration. Aroma is caramel, toasty and light yeasty. Flavor has caramel notes, bready, plumbacke and cookies, yeast. The final has a light bitterness with a good compansated and light sweetness.

beerandbeyond (625) - ISRAEL - JAN 19, 2013
Tap sample at the brewery. Clear copper color with no head. Yeasty and fruity nose - all mellow, with some herbal hops. Sweet honey flavors, with caramel, alcohol and strange nuttiness. Gassy, med-full body, a bit bizarre and overall not very good.

kerenmk (2001) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 26, 2012
Draught at a beer fest in Tel Aviv. Frothy white head on top of murky dark amber liquid. Malt, grainy aroma, hoppy, bitter, dry taste. Medium body, long, slightly dry finish. ok, but disharmonious and unbalanced.

zvikar (2800) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - JAN 23, 2012
At the 2nd Israeli Beer Exhibition, pours clear bronze to orange with a huge creamy head, aroma of marmalade, vanilla and peach, flavor is bitter and too hoppy for the style, malt, caramel, grapefruit with a bitter aftertaste, nice carbonation, medium bodied

Oakes (11786) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 11, 2011
On tap at Stern Bar, Tel-Aviv. Tannish-amber with some haze. Thick white head. The aroma is quite yeasty, a little bit perfumey and with a slight pear ester. Spicy-hoppy accent with somewhat candyish malts. Perhaps a bit green and unrefined, but good to see Pavo trying this type of beer, as few Israeli brewers are.
