Falling on the spectrum of bitterness at 75 IBUís 2Paws IPA first announces itself with an intoxicating citrus aroma derived from a wonderful mixture of hops. Easy to drink, 2Paws IPA incorporates special ingredients that allow the bitterness to go the distance of pure pleasure without compromising a smooth finish

Draft to pint at the brewery (from notes). Looks fine; dark with low carbonation and thin lacing. Smells and tastes sweet and hoppy. Average on the palate. Not a bad local IPA.

On tap at Paw Paw brewery. Served in a sampler glass. Pours a nice orange-copper color with a good white head and some sticky lacing as it goes down. The nose carries a good bit of citrus hops with a touch of semi-sweet malt in the background. The flavor hits the right citrus notes with enough malt to be East Coast-style, though it doesnít go over the top. Body is light-to-medium with good carbonation and a dry finish. Nice local brew for when I visit my parents.

On draught at the microbrewery in Paw Paw, Michigan. Pours a clear copper orange colored brew with an average sized off-white head that has some excellent lacing. Aroma of heavy Three Cís hops, mostly Cascadish, a hint of fruit and white pepper. Flavor is medium to full bodied, citrus zest, grapefruit, a hint of caramel malt and white pepper. Finish is citrusy, lingering grapefruit zest aftertaste that slowly disappears. Alcohol is well-hidden in this solid IPA.
