Hop bitterness, with almost no malt sweetness. Turned a grey color on final pour. Cloudy with average head. Unique, but don’t need to have again.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark gold, white head. Good retention/some lace. Aroma of citrus, melon, grassy hop, light caramel, cracker. Taste is lightly bitter, citrus, light bread sweetness. Palate is slick, average carbonation, light bitter finish.

The Citra pours a mauve with a thick ivory head that lasts a good while. The aroma is citrus, orange and grapefruit. The flavor is a sharp hop with some citrus. Overall this is an average beer. The aroma is great, but the flavor falls short.

Bottle. Pours a near clear light amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice melon and sweet citrus combination with a bit of sweet grain backing. Flavor starts with sweet citrus and melon and finishes with bitter citrus and grain.

Bottle. Thanks Jason. Hazy amber-gold pour with a small foamy head. Aroma is really nice. Lots of citra hops that bring in lots of sweet tropical fruit and melon. Taste is a slight step down but still solid. Tropical fruit, citrus, and melon. Not as juicy as I was hoping for but still good. Dry, crisp finish. Solid session IPA.

This is a nice sessionable pale ale that is not overly bitter but solid tropical notes with a touch of pepper and resin. The color is a tad weird has it has a pinkish glow. I will gladly finish this sixer.

On tap. Pours bright straw with a thin white head. Citrus, pine, and floral notes. The melon comes in at the end. Light body with a nice level of hop bitterness. The carbonation level is high. The finish is fairly dry. Enjoyable beer.

Bottle: Swampy, thin copper body almost with a strange indigo-ish hue to it. Chunky, porous off-white head piles up nicely. Aroma does have a nice, juicy melon note to it with some pineapple, strawberry, honey & other tropical fruit. Lightly sweet smelling, with a light kiss of underlying herbalness for balance. Moderate candy essence. Taste isn’t as heavy or dense; lighter notes of honeydew, sweet melon, & lemon-line jump to the front with a stronger, white pepper hop abrasion coming alive without ever getting too bitter. A little watery, maybe, with a fruit peel & somewhat earthy tone in the finish. Crisp & easy drinking, that’s for sure. Would have liked the flavor to follow the aroma more closely but this was a pretty nice pale ale.
