Pleasingly smooth and slightly darker than most amber styles, this Amber carries a caramel note through the finish. English and crystal malt lend themselves to the pleasant aroma and finish.

On draught at the microbrewery taproom in Paw Paw, Michigan. Pours a clear copper amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, a hint of toffee, light brown sugar and a touch of floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, a mild caramel malt and floral hop flavor. Finish in balanced, a touch of fruity malt aftertaste with floral hops.

On tap at Paw Paw brewery. Served in a sampler glass. Pours a nice amber color with an off-white head and a good bit of lacing on the way down. The nose has some amber and caramel malt along with some floral hops and a touch of citrus. Flavor is a mixture of malt and hops. It’s bready with a bit of floral hops in the background. Body is light-medium with good carbonation. A bit chewy. Well made, but nothing too exciting.
