No way you would suspect there was rye in this. A nice amber ale appearance, and characteristics of an IPA and amber ale. None of the rye sourness usually associated with the grain. Very, very good for the style.

Had this @alefort here in Boise. I was glad that I Payette was there at the event. They showed well across the board.
This was a nice rye. I am typically not a fan of Ryes but is is nice.
aroma- Hay, with lots of grass on it.
appearance- almost closer to red then expected
Taste- Medium on the bitter with a little bit of the sour showing through.
palate- Low on co2 (good thing) medium body. Comes in harsh on the nose but finishes smooth with a long after.

Tap: Cloudy yellow color with a white head. Citrusy aroma. Tangy flavor with a bit of plastic in it. The rye is definitely tasted in the finish which is a bit weird but still good.
