COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Outlaw is brewed for those on the run from the laws of traditional American beer. An American IPA, the Outlaw is brewed with an abundance of American hops backed up by a solid malt base. Citrus, pine and slightly spicy aroma dominate the Outlaw; it finishes with a pleasant bitterness with a bit of malty sweetness.

Well payette brewery is not not on the bottom of my boise brewery lists. That is now that crooked fence is out. This beer should be called their pale ale, and their pale ale an ale. Maybe I have been spoiled by all the other good IPAís out there, but this one did not make me feel satisfied in the end. Guess Ill be sticking with sockeye and tablerock for the time being.

Can courtesy of Lectvay, thanks man! Dark amber/copper pour with an off white head. Aromas of big pine hops with some earthy notes. Flavor is pine, pine, pine. Not a whole lot of maltiness to speak of, this one is all about the hops. Not bad though.

Draft. Cloudy orange color. Grapefruit in the aroma. Lots of citrus flavor. Not much head, with a little lacing. Medium bodied. Good beer!

5/31/14. Can from swap with Louis. Pours a nice copper golden with a nice head. Nice representation of a IPA. Blend of East and West coast styles. A bit thinner mouth than some of the style nice malt hop balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not sure why this little gem has such low style points, Itís pretty nifty IPA thatís a cloudy golden with a nice off white head. Some light fruitiness in the smell and flavour as well as citrus hops. Itís got a really nice cream texture and is a smooth, tasty example of the style. Good work Boise boys.

Can from a trade with Darrel. Poured into a snifter at home. Deep copper haze with not much head. Some ring and mild lacing. Aroma is bread, cereal, hay, light citrus, and grass. The taste is muted with bread, hay, citrus and wet grass. Bitter finish. The malt and hops kind of miss each other in balance. A little raw bitterness on the palate.

Orange, melon hops. Subtle bready, sweet malt character--just enough to support the hops. Substantial but good bitterness.

Can: First of all, I am SHOCKED by the percentage for the style! 42% Cmon, folks. Donít be showing a anti-Boise bias! We are producing some good stuff over here. Having said that, the brew is a cloudy gold with a frothy head and sticky lacing. Nice, green, citrusy aroma followed by a sturdy hop backbone in the flavor. Well balanced for an IPA and extremely easy to drink. A go to brew. Now being served in 12 packs at your local grocery store!

Poured from a 12 ounce can. The aroma is citrusy hops, pine. The flavor is juicy, citrusy, peach, bready malts, some graininess. Great IPA.

Very clean pouring, nice golden-amber color. Aroma of pine and citrus, more grapefruit than anything. On the palate there is grapefruit mainly, some pine as well. The malt back on this does balance it nicely, but you can still tell it is an IPA.

This is one of the best can IPAís I have had. I found it in a Grocery Outlet in Sandy, Oregon, and am so glad I picked some up. This IPA is pretty much perfectly balanced. Lotís of Northwest hop flavors, but a crisp clean finish that doesnít leave you puckered up. Great beer.
