Amber beer; the complex flavor and strong body enhance its warming characteristics. A beer for the conneisseur! Brewed with quality ingredients: anglosaxon hops and Maris Otter malt, a masterpiece. You can drink it with red meats, game dishes, old cheese or alone.

33cl bottle. Hazy pale blondish yellow in color with a small white head. The aroma is yeasty and Belgian with slight funk and floral hops, maybe some wheat. The flavor is like a Belgian blond that maybe ventures slightly into the witbier realm. Yeast dominates the pale malt base and there is mild hop bitterness. A little rough/unpolished on the flavor but pretty good still. Medium body with higher carbonation level and a lively palate. Not bad for a Sicilian beer. A good tick.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of citrus, malt, brettanomyces, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and fruit, as well as lighter notes of brettanomyces, leading to a dry phenolic finish.

Bottle 330ml.

Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, candy, phenol. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100605]

Ottima, freschezza luppolosa nel naso, una bella scoperta anche se abbinata con una non pertinente piada baby alla nutella.

Lubiere (6707) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 22, 2009
A dark amber orange ale with a thick off white head. A doughy aroma of grainy malt, cream, light acidic points, and warming alcohol. A sourish ale with mineral notes, lemon...seemed like an infected strong ale, or a rather light bodied gueuze. Overall, dissapointing. Bottle at Volo, March 21 2009, 9.95$ down the drain.
