Clear straw yellow pour with white head. Aroma of grain and fruit with a mostly malt flavor. Decent.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5077) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 30, 2012
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized foamy beige head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was faint malt and apple with nothing else going on. The flavor was tangy apple, pear, faint pepper and toast. Medium length tangy apple and pear finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

blipp (6357) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Draft. Golden yellow with a fizzy head. Typical premium lager, light clean grainy notes, a hint of floral hop bitterness, crisp, and easy to drink. Probably should be classified as premium lager instead of pale lager, but hey, what the hell do I know.

DocLock (8054) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2011
Draft at PBC. Pours dark straw with white head. Nose was pale malt, mild fruit and hops. Tasted pale malty, with backup hops, fruit, and honey notes. Decent.

grandet (501) - Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 7, 2009
On draft at the brewery, or whatever it is. Amber colored with a small head. Aroma is of sweet malt and some hops. Taste is nice and light(but not too light) Malt sweetness balanced with some nice hops dryness. Nice and drinkable. Pretty good.

Guinness4Duff (515) - Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA - JAN 27, 2008
This is a very flavorful beer for the style, malty with a fruit accent. Ive rated alot of pale lagers, but this one is definitely the best. If you happen to be at PBC give it a try.

beerbill (3538) - Laurel, New York, USA - MAY 30, 2006
On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep golden color with virtually no head. Not very aromatic. Pleasant malt and hops flavor. Very smooth and easy to drink. A very good example of an American Lager.

Lou18 (1353) - West Paterson, New Jersey, USA - FEB 22, 2005
Pourd pale yellow, with a decent white head. Little aroma of malt and yast. The flavor was flat and not too exciting. Not bad but nothing special.

Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2002
medium gold color - looks like ginger ale! and surprise, has subtle tastes of granny smith apples and ginger. For a Lager, I wasn’t expecting much and was very surprised at the crispness and bright flavors. I doubt they could bottle this and get the same reaction from my taste buds. well done!
