3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 micker (35) - Cambridge, - JUN 3, 2007
Wow, A budget beer that is much better than many more expensive alternatives. It’s even better than most of the beers in Brick’s lineup. Has a flavour that is very close to true Belgium beers such as Guldan Drak, only watered down in alcohol content as well as flavour. It’s best discribed as a mixture of North American and Belgium styles. This beer would sell more if it was under the Brick label, it will be overlooked as just another lousy beer in the PC lineup
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 29, 2011
Originally rated July 2007. This beer comes in a 12 pack, for one dollar more than their other swill lagers. It pours a cloudy golden-beige colour with a decent creamy-foam head that has pretty good retention, and very nice lacing. The nose is malty with some of that Belgian white yeast. Smooth watery mouthfeel, with very mild stickiness as it goes down. The taste is pretty light, with mostly malt and maybe wheat in the background. Some little citrus in the aftertaste. Above average for a PC brew, but too light tasting to be a good witbier. Good on the wallet though, and just right for the summer.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Strangebrewer (496) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 21, 2008
Poured cloudy straw coloured with a thin white head. Citrus aroma. A nice version of a belgian wheat beer considering they aren’t my favorite. Very drinkable, light citrus and malty flavour. Better than I expected.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 GoLdFiNgEr (87) - La Pocatière, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 10, 2008
3.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 fatspace (2) - CANADA - APR 10, 2008 does not count
It’s not Hoegaarden... but still good. It’s a little watery and lighter tasting (very weak citrus flavour). Slightly cloudy with little head. Remember to swirl the bottle when pouring it out. It’s a good beer if you’re drinking more than a couple. If you’re drinking purely for taste, stick to Hoegaarden or Southampton White Ale.

bottle.
slightly cloudy, very minimal citrus aroma, with some light yeastiness. Flavour and body are quite wattery, not much in the flavour other than a tinge of citrus. Meh, pretty poor.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JohnBarleycorn (537) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 17, 2007
Bottle. Cloudy orange/yellow. Pleasant springtime floral, lemon and ginger aromas. While the palate is a little thin, it refreshes nonetheless. Clove and lemon mix with soapy flavours. While there is an underlying thin/cheap quality to this brew, the flavours do a good job at masking the unpolished edges. Very good for the price.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 yarry (451) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 6, 2007
341ml bottle, 5% a/v
Pours a cloudy gold-orange colour with a decent white head. Smells like citrus, clove, coriander and a bit of the corona skunk smell. Taste is fairly decent though after a few gets "chemically". Citrus flavours carry over along with the clove spice taste. A fairly dissapointing mouthfeel for a white beer, but overall not bad. Decent price for a white beer, but not the best white out there.. Regardless, I will buy it again.

Too bad they did a bad job with this beer. Due to the price if it was any good I would have stocked my fridge with it for bbq’s. Tastes like somone poured Molson Canadian into a glass of Hoegaarden. Would rather spend the extra dough on Blanche du Chambly or Hoegaarden.
