3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled at Repeal of Prohibition fest 2013 at Schlafly Bottleworks - Pours golden blonde with a light haze and white head. The aroma has bananas, clove, raw dough and fruity Belgian yeast. It has medium / full body with light carbonation. The flavor starts sweet and sugary with nectar fruits, spice and mild banana. The finish has mild spicy hops. Pretty good.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bottle. Pale orangish pour with no head. Nice aroma of sugars, yeast, and slight banana. Taste is a bit blander than that. Just so-so.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours blonde (good work on the name of the beer!) with minimal head. Good belgian to it, bananas and the like. Solid beer, had some good beers from these guys. Thanks RG.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled at the Schlafly ROP 2013. It poured a cloudy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of lemons, some dry yeasts, and some ripe rotting fruit. The taste was of lemons, dry Belgian malts, not hot despite a higher ABV. Very good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted at the 2013 Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition fest in a mini Willybecher glass. It poured a mostly clear orange-tinged golden colour with moderate white foam and Belgian lace. Grainy, with strong pilsener impression, low-level earthy and pepper notes from hops and yeast. Slight residual sweetness. Nice, mellow, subtly balanced aromas and flavors. Light-medium body, average carbonation, bready mouthfeel, relatively dry finish. Deceptively smooth and drinkable for 8.5% alcohol, warming but otherwise well-concealed. I love the Styrian Goldings and Celeia hops in the description but I confess I wouldn’t have been able to identify them at such low dosages. Overall another tasty, well-crafted brew from Peace Tree.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz stubby bottle bought at Hyvee liguors in Cedar Rapids. Poured a crystal clear yellow gold body with a very small foamy white head. (Recommend leaving the yeast in the bottle on this one. Did not find that it improved the taste or texture.) Aroma is very yeasty, lots of esters, ripe banana, slight white pepper, bready, and apricot. Thick body with chewy texture. Soft carbonation with a consistent uncomplicated taste and finish. Flavor is not as complex as the aroma, yeast, straw, bread crusts, lemon drop, slight bubble gum, some white pepper, and paper napkin. A very pleasant beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2013 12 oz stubby bottle left behind at my New Years party by a neighbor. The pour is mostly clear golden yellow, with a one inch white head that falls with no lacing. The aroma is straw, malt sweetness, and an herbal yeast Tripel nose. The taste is the herbal straw, round full sweet malt, more of the herbal, and light banana clove yeast. The palate is medium to light bodied, fairly low carbonation with the yeast notes lingering in the aftertaste. Alcohol is decently masked.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz cool ass stubby bottle from JCWatts, thanks John. Poured a good looking clear yellow gold body with a smaller foamy bright white head. Upon pouring the last few drops some giant dollops of yeast plopped into my DDC tulip. Aroma is very yeasty, lots of esters, ripe banana, slight white pepper, bready, dough, bubble gum and topical fruits. Body is rather nice with a medium mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation with an average duration on the aftertaste and a slightly delicate mouthfeel overall. Flavor is not as complex as the aroma, yeast, bread crusts, lemon rind, slight bubble gum and some white pepper. This was a nice surprise. Nice beer.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
This was terrible. I understand what they were trying to do with the Belgian yeast, but it was too much. The tasted infected. More medicine than that pleasant belgian funk. Barely choked this one down.
