COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an unfiltered Belgian Style Blonde Ale. The beer is blonde in color from the pale malted barley varieties. It is delicately hopped with Styrian Golding and Celeia for medium bitterness and aroma. Sugars are added for higher attenuation, following the practices of some Belgian brewers. Belgian ale yeast is used to add complex flavor esters. This beer is unfiltered and yeast is left in for additional conditioning. The beer is named Fatale because it is 8.5% alcohol by volume and will catch up with you if youre not careful.

12 oz bottle from pepsiedcan. Nose is grassy hops, caramel, yeast, and hints of bubblegum and cloves. Lightly hazy urine yellow with a medium yellow tinged head. Flavor is lightly bitter, a bit of contrasting sweetness, and peppery spices.

Aroma is very similar to a witbier with cloves heavily in the mix. The appearance is yellow-gold and relatively clear. The flavor is vanilla, lemons and noticeable carbonation. Overall its a good ale, sort of a mix of several different styles of Belgian Ales.

Shared with kristen, james and veronica. Clear golden pour. Kristen also REALLY liked this beer. Belgian candi sugar and lightly yeasty. A little alcohol on the nose. Not burning. Thought this was Blonde Fat Ale. Pretty good.

Draft at Shorts Burger & Shine. Poured a hazy yellow-light orange color with a white head. Very fragrant. I smelled it from across the table without bringing up to my nose. Lots of banana, cereal grain, and a squeeze of lemon. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet with a bit of citrus-type acidity. Moderate carbonation. The flavor profile followed the aroma; banana, lemon zest, and mixed cereal grains.

On tap at peace tree. Cloudy flaxen color. Nice initial large head with great retention. Initial sulphorous yeasty aroma that gives way to a very blegian lemony scent. Palate is slightly fizzy. The hops provide a nice medium citrus bitterness throughout. Key lime finish. Quite good.

Pours to a hazy glowing amber golden body with a crisp clean white head. The beer has a vibrancy thats really nice. The aroma is pineapple, yeasty bananas, light cloves, with a light clean fruity hop aroma. The flavor is yeasty bready malts with a pineapple, cloves, and plantains. Almost like a citrus hop in there. The palate is medium bodied and pretty carbonated. Subtle alcohol warming. Pretty good velvety texture with a long sweet finish.

Bottle. Old vegetale dough, wet grass, bread. Not exactly my cup of tea. Imperial blonde ale spiked with budweiser.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2013 12 oz stubby bottle left behind at my New Years party by a neighbor. The pour is mostly clear golden yellow, with a one inch white head that falls with no lacing. The aroma is straw, malt sweetness, and an herbal yeast Tripel nose. The taste is the herbal straw, round full sweet malt, more of the herbal, and light banana clove yeast. The palate is medium to light bodied, fairly low carbonation with the yeast notes lingering in the aftertaste. Alcohol is decently masked.

Pours a hazy golden color with a nice big tight head with larger than normal bubbles. The aroma is plenty of bread yeast with some nice banana fruitiness and a bit of spice. The flavor follows but the banana is more defined and the spiciness is less so. There is some nice lemon zest and a mild balancing bitterness with a nice enough alcohol character.
