COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an unfiltered Belgian Style Blonde Ale. The beer is blonde in color from the pale malted barley varieties. It is delicately hopped with Styrian Golding and Celeia for medium bitterness and aroma. Sugars are added for higher attenuation, following the practices of some Belgian brewers. Belgian ale yeast is used to add complex flavor esters. This beer is unfiltered and yeast is left in for additional conditioning. The beer is named Fatale because it is 8.5% alcohol by volume and will catch up with you if you’re not careful.

Aroma is very similar to a witbier with cloves heavily in the mix. The appearance is yellow-gold and relatively clear. The flavor is vanilla, lemons and noticeable carbonation. Overall its a good ale, sort of a mix of several different styles of Belgian Ales.

Sampled at Repeal of Prohibition fest 2013 at Schlafly Bottleworks - Pours golden blonde with a light haze and white head. The aroma has bananas, clove, raw dough and fruity Belgian yeast. It has medium / full body with light carbonation. The flavor starts sweet and sugary with nectar fruits, spice and mild banana. The finish has mild spicy hops. Pretty good.

Savor 2016: Banana and peach natural esters on the nose. Milky yellow, thin head. Banana, lemon, bready. Medium body, easy carbonation. Really enjoyable.

12oz cool ass stubby bottle from JCWatts, thanks John. Poured a good looking clear yellow gold body with a smaller foamy bright white head. Upon pouring the last few drops some giant dollops of yeast plopped into my DDC tulip. Aroma is very yeasty, lots of esters, ripe banana, slight white pepper, bready, dough, bubble gum and topical fruits. Body is rather nice with a medium mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation with an average duration on the aftertaste and a slightly delicate mouthfeel overall. Flavor is not as complex as the aroma, yeast, bread crusts, lemon rind, slight bubble gum and some white pepper. This was a nice surprise. Nice beer.

Bottled. Deep gold colored body with only a trace of a thin white head. The nose has a little funk and leather. There is also some apple. Hints of clove show up as a nice spice. This tastes a little leathery with some notes of orange peels. The finish is fairly spicy with clove. There is only a hint of salt in the finish. Overall, this is fairly dry and straight forward. Decent.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle thanks to pepsiedcan. Pours a sort of hazy copper color with a thin, nearly nonexistent white head of foam. Aroma is sweet and candied. Some corn comes through in the aroma, but not in the taste. Taste is sweet. Candy notes come through as well. Overall a very sweet beer with some interesting complexities.

12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee in Muscatine. Orange and slight hazy appearance with a small beige head. Aroma of banana, bubblegum, clove, light fruity esters, pale malts, Belgian yeast and light hops. Similar flavor, mild to moderately sweet and lightly bitter with a lingering finish. Medium body, pretty easy to drink for the ABV. I enjoyed it slightly more on tap.
