COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an unfiltered Belgian Style Blonde Ale. The beer is blonde in color from the pale malted barley varieties. It is delicately hopped with Styrian Golding and Celeia for medium bitterness and aroma. Sugars are added for higher attenuation, following the practices of some Belgian brewers. Belgian ale yeast is used to add complex flavor esters. This beer is unfiltered and yeast is left in for additional conditioning. The beer is named Fatale because it is 8.5% alcohol by volume and will catch up with you if youíre not careful.

Bottle from Casey on the Black Country tour. Cheers my friend. Great to see you and Traci for the first time in 3 years. Hope youíll come back soon Itís an aromatic authentic Belgian blond ale. If you hadnít told me it wasnít Belgian Iíd struggle to tell you, perhaps a bit too clean and a bit too hoppy to be pure Belgian. Bit of perfume on aroma. Decent beer.

Phone rate. Draught @ el Bait Shop. Clear amber, small white head fading to a thin ring rather quickly. Aroma of banana and pale grain, fairly dry with some alcohol. Flavor has moderate fruity yeast with a bit of band aid notes, husky grain. Very well attenuated, finishes dry with a tinge of banana and grape notes, alcohol not masked too well. Bitterness peaked at a 1-2. Light to mod prickly carbonation with a medium body. OK.

Bottle provided by Ed Roberts. Not a whole lot going on in this beer. Has a sweet aroma with subtle hints of candy sugar and wheat. It was a very nice contrast though to all the big stouts we were consuming.

Bottle @ Danís house. Clear, golden appearance with a white head. Fairly spicy yeasty, light lemon citrusy, fresh bready aroma. Sweet, lemon, apricot citrusy, spicy, biscuit flavor. Ok fat ale- I need to try more fat ales in the future!

Sampled at the Schlafly ROP 2013. It poured a cloudy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of lemons, some dry yeasts, and some ripe rotting fruit. The taste was of lemons, dry Belgian malts, not hot despite a higher ABV. Very good.

Draft. Clear orange-amber. Aroma is mostly bubblegum. Taste: sweet, bubblegum, light citrus, floral, very little bitterness, maybe a little butter. Palate: full body, slick texture. Overall: needs work. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Blonde Fatale comes off on the sweeter side, notes of citrus with a medium body. Summer would be the perfect time of year for this brew. Very enjoyable.

12oz Bottle, purchased at Warehouse Liquors - Duluth, MN. My first Iowa tick! Warm banana, spice, and cooked fruit aroma. Clean. Flavors are good. Light sweetness, good mineral profile, light clove and herb presence. Dry. A little on the rubbery side of the Belgian phenols for me, but this isnít bad. Glad I got the chance to try it.

Light on flavor. I know this is a blonde, but come on, man! Give me something to work with.
