3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly hazy gold pour with a thin, white head. Aroma of cereal, bready yeast, grassy hops, toast, spicy hops, and earthy fruit. Flavor is very bready, grassy hops, toast biscuit, banana, apple chips, hay and light mineral notes to the finish. Medium body, slightly oily feel, light, but sharp carbonation. Not bad.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Smells like banana, a bit of bubblegum, and citrus fruits. Pours a deep amber, with almost no head. Taste is banana, with a biscuity finish. Very surprised with this beer, very easy to forget that its an 8.5% beer. Easily the best Iowa beer that I have had so far.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee in Muscatine. Orange and slight hazy appearance with a small beige head. Aroma of banana, bubblegum, clove, light fruity esters, pale malts, Belgian yeast and light hops. Similar flavor, mild to moderately sweet and lightly bitter with a lingering finish. Medium body, pretty easy to drink for the ABV. I enjoyed it slightly more on tap.

Aroma is very nice for a blonde air. Smells a bit like a peach orchard sitting next to a flower auditorium where everything is watered with beer. :) A little reminiscent of some Belgian Trippels in the nose believe it or not. Tastes of bananas (likely from wheat) with a subtle but substantial for the style hops bite that fades into a sweat banana bread aftertaste. Agree with prior reviews that you can not taste the alcohol here. This tastes like a 4.5%. I would have had no clue it was an 8.5% if I hadn’t read it here.

Pours a hazy gold color with a white head. Careful with this beer as it is 8.5% ABV but it’s hidden very well.
