COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is Joeís multinational take on a classic IPA. IPAís are known for their intense hop bitterness, flavor and aromas. First, Joe used American and English malt, then American and English hops are added during the mash, first wort, boil, and finally it is dry hopped for aroma. Belgium gets involved with the yeast and a special candy sugar finish for smoothness and flavor.

Fantastic floral & hop aroma w/ a decent rustic pour w/ a big foamy head. The taste is a little thin & uneventful. Not a dry hopped beer which makes it go down easy but lacks flavor to really make this stand out. Not bad overall!

Red stripe looking bottle, sort of a Belgian wit inspired IPA. Not sure if Iím supposed to be getting those flavors. Meh

The Belgian yeast really makes this IPA smooth and very drinkable. The Blond Fatale and No Coast IPA are good choices from Peace Tree.

Pours a nice amber color with white head. Pine, citrus, and some malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes clean.

bottle @ Johnís Grocery / Iowa City IA --- Clear rich dark amber color (nice!), 2" ivory head that slowly drops to 1/2", strings of lace. Aroma is strong citrus. Taste is mostly citrus on the sip, but big swallows produce a full malty body that mixes with citrus in the palate. Citrus fades before malt for a lingering sweet finish. Good stuff.

Pours a darker, clear amber with a full, frothy, long lasting white head. The aroma is more subtle. Grassy hops comes out most in the nose. Caramel, earthy malts, grapefruit, orange, and lemon citrus are all very mild undertones. The taste is very dry and without the bitterness usually found in this style. It has grassy and floral hops, lemon, and slight pine. The aftertaste is full of floral hops. The body is light to medium. It has a very sudsy texture, while containing an average amount of carbonation. This is an unusual IPA. Unfortunately, its also pretty bland overall.

12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee Muscatine. Dark orange, hazy appearance with a small white head and sediment. Aroma of floral notes, Belgian yeast, citrus fruits, herbs, banana and spices. Similar flavor, adding mild zesty hop bitterness and light malty sweetness. Nicely balanced, everything comes together well.

C/O mnmike - Thanks again Mike! Really jazzed! Aroma - odd sort of nose, but enjoyable. Belgium yeast?! Itís slightly surprising, but really pleasant as well. Centennials are present, as well as citrus hops. A dose of resin, but not much. Very interesting. Appearance -nice orange rust body, the liquid is cloudy almost opaque, but with a lot of nucleation going not; the head is huge about 2 3/4" of off-white head that almost starts to flake, really sexy! The dissipations is very slow, and it just kind of holds up for a while. Taste - the flavor is really interestingly balanced. It has a piquant hop body, not bitter so to speak, but a citrus spike thatís not over the top, but definitely the defining quality, with a little champagne yeast quality. Rather tasty. In the citrus is a bit of grapefruit, pineapple, orange, and lemon essence. Had to add a late note, there is also a late tang, almost an English hop tang about it. Palate - the body is around medium; the texture venturing toward oily; the carbonation is definitely lively; the finish is not overly lengthy, but it is spiced and mildly bitter. Very pleasantly surprised.
