Cask@Nottingham Beer Festival 2010. Amber beer with a light head. The aroma is mildly bitter, and the flavour is gently bitter with a hint of toffee. Overall a slightly above average bitter.

Cask, handpump at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Castleton, Peak District, Derbyshire 20.09.10. Pours chestnut in colour with an off-white head. Nice light nuttiness and lighty malty. Tasty bitter beer with good bitterness, very pleasant some vanilla also showing, some citrusy streaks also. Really good beer in a very good pub. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

On gravity at the Rising Sun beer festival, Frampton Cotterell, South Gloucestershire 29/08/10. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of caramel with some fruit. Flavour was similar, with some biscuit malt, a touch of grassy hop and bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet with notes of both malt and caramel.

Bottle from CAMRA, Nottingham BF ’07. Copper gold with a white head. Malty aroma with just a hint of hops. Taste is sweet caramel malt with a mid bitter finish. Pretty good.
