Completely astonishing for a 4.6% beer. Smells of banana and toffee. Tastes the same but with a warming alcohol kick that defies its strength. Could enjoy this any day of the week. X ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled Lightly scented and pale coloured. Taste is a mix of light citrus with floral notes and a very distinct but not overly sweet honey tone. Very drinkable although would benefit from a bit more hop!

Pours a rather pale urine colour without head. Interestingly, the colour deepens to a light bronze as it warms up, and the pleasant aroma and light hoppyness makes for a rather delicious bitter.

Cask handpull, The Old Bowling Green, Winster, Derbyshire, 02/07/11. Clean and brassy with a slim white top. Full and slick with a characterful interplay of lemony jellied hop and creamy oak. Herbal piney hop aroma, late husk and bitterness. Good stuff with Plenty of interest.

Bottle [500ml]. Pours a clear bubbly gold with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma of light floral hops, malt and a mild vegetal note. Lightly hoppy flavour along with malt, fruit and a light to average bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good.

Bottled. Grass and hay aroma, clear gold colour. Earthy and acidic on the tongue, followed by a nicely balancing honey sweetness, that lingers nicely. Gets a little yeasty late on, but generally a pleasant enough beer.
