Fresh Cut is a dry-hopped pilsner. Chinook, Citra and Centennial hops provide aromas of citrus, grass and spice. Though the front palate is loud with IPA qualities, the finish is distinctly pilsner- crisp, dry and extremely refreshing. Enjoy!

12oz bottle (dated 10/9/13) pours clear pale bright gold with 2 finger foamy head. Nose is piney, fruity, with just a hint of grain. Mouthfeel has some maltiness and is overall a little more full bodied than some pilsners. Taste is bitter grassy pine, evergreen, with some light fruity notes. Finish is crisp, lasting bitter pine, grains, a little lemon, some traces of hay. Very refreshing, super sessionable but without sacrificing flavor. Quite a nice pilsner.

Bottle. A fresh, very well hopped beer. Some citrus and grapefruit in the aroma but the dry flavor and finish of a pilsner. And this is getting close to Czech style and quality. Better than victory. This is a contender for best bottled American pils.

Pours a light yellow, somewhere between honey and lemonade with a small bubbly white head. Smells like fresh cut grass, and honestly to me reminds me a lot of the smell of cooking lobster. Plenty hop forward at first, citrus and grass flavor are light background flavors. This finishes crisp but not dry or bitter, more sessionable than anything and still a pilsner. Another solid offering from Peak Brewing Co.

Nice pilsner offering. Sample pour of light soft yellow with white head. Nose is fresh cut grass and hops without smelling bitter. Smells green for sure. Tastes of light pils malt and earthiness, but still clean. Really enjoyable, and nice drinking with the inclusion of dry hopping.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Hazy gold with white wave. Fruity hoppiness with some onion in the nose, light fruity bitterness in the mouth - very crisp. Light body, lingering bitterness.

I want to like this beer so badly. Pleasant citrus up front in both the nose and the flavor that slowly retreats to stale sleeping bag. I wish I could get rid of that aftertaste!

Drank this after the crazy DC Ratebeer Sour Gathering 2014. Light and refreshing was what I needed and about what I got. Draft pour at Bar Charlie. Poured a slightly hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light fruits, some mild grassy character. Citrus. Fresh tasting, quite refreshing. This hit the spot just about perfectly. Will try again.

Golden color, two finger head. Lots of hops I think Simcoe. Some earth notes...grass, wheat, FLORAL. The flowers are very pungent. Hop backbone. And some citrus notes, lemon zest, orange peel and grapefruit. Pretty balanced pils.

Definitely light and crisp, but not more so than a German style pilsner. The west coast hops are certainly represented in this beer, and to me it seems more like a light version of an American IPA. I thought that style was already called Pale Ale (without the India in front of it). The finish was very clean and enjoyable. Overall, an extremely fresh and quick-drinking beer. But I have a hard time calling it a pilsner. I would love to try this on tap.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Pours yellow slightly hazy with a medium head, aroma of citrus and mango, really fresh and lively, flavor is bitter and crisp with lemon skin, pine and citrus bitter finish, medium bodied, surprisingly good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Clear golden with a white head. Great hoppy aroma, tropical, citric and grassy with a bit of malt. Flavor has light bready malt, pleasant hops, grassy and fruity and a nice lingering bitterness. Rather light-bodied. Very good.
