Bottle. Pours a dark amber black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty hoppy aroma. Roasted malty hoppy bitter piney licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of pine needles and licorice.

Bottle at home in CT, USA. Pours black with a creamy, beige cap. Big pine and grass hop nose, with decent roast, too. Medium sweet flavor with heavy grassy bitterness, heavy roasted malts and burnt cocoa. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly dry on the finish, with burnt wood, charred malts and roast, pine, mild oily resins and grass. Lingering bitter roast and grass. A very decent black IPA.

Bottle at Basque, Göteborg. Very deep amber beer with a nice lasting beige head. Chocolate aroma, roasted, caramel, hoppy, grassy, hay notes, some citrus, some cocoa powder. Hoppy toasted flavor, fruity, citrus, grapes, metallic notes. Hoppy roasted finish with cocoa powder, citrus and some grapes.

Dark dark brown verging on black with a good finger of tan head.
Malt nose allied to slightly piney hops and a little licquorice.
Piney citrus hops and medium roasted malts combine finishing with a nice bitterness note.
Medium bodied amd carbonation with quite a dry finish.
Enjoyable Black IPA.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Mixed aroma of resin and cat pee. Near med body. Flavor is mild chocolate with resin and a touch of citrus. It’s dry and hoppy. Not harshly hoppy, but hoppy. The finish is ashy chocolate and a lot of hop. Pretty nicely done.

22oz bottle, thanks BeerandBlues2. Small tan head atop black body with brown edges. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some roast, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, roast, some burnt, grapefruit. Medium body, low carbonation.

Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of roastiness, cocoa, grapefruit, pine and earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of roastiness, cocoa, pine and light grapefruit with a crisp dry bitter lingering roasty pine finish.
