COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A unique India Pale Ale, showcasing our favorite hops. The Amarillo®, Simcoe®, and Nugget hops give this beer a bounty of hop flavor and aroma without too much bitterness in the finish.

So, I picked this up for the tick, not realizing it was brewed at Shipyard. So, in a way, it got points right off the bat for not being a buttery mess. Actually not bad - nice mix of the usual malty flavors and hops. Actually leans bit towards the sweeter, maltier versions.

12oz bottle into a crystal pint glass. Frothy head the builds and sticks around, this is a great brew. Easy sipper with plenty of hop back bone. The hops are quite fresh, hence the organic label. Tastes like they have just been picked. Color is slight red, slight bronze, and plenty orange. Taste is soapy, fresh, fullfilling, and citrus. Dried pine sneaks in there too. A quality brew here.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and slight grapefruity. Citrusy and peachy flavoured. Mild brett. Crisp citrusy, slight leathery and dry finish, yet only subdued bitterness.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a creamy off-white head. Fresh citrusy hops in the nose. Medium body, first a little sweet caramel then nice and dry citrusy hops and a little peach. Dry and hoppy finish. Not a HUGE IPA, but straight and quaffable. 050411

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, hops, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

(12 ounce bottle - shaker glass) Pours a semi filterd golden brown color. Aroma is of floral and herbal hops. Tastes of caramel and hay malt. Soft carbonation and warm finish. Overal not enough hops in the taste but still a good beer

malrubius (1809) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - MAR 25, 2011
Bottle from Trader Joe’s . Copper with head and lace. Very fresh hoppy aroma with caramel and fruit. Caramel toffee bready with medium pineapple peach fruity and resiny fresh hop finish. Fairly complex and tasty. Not a hophead super dry bitter IPA but pretty good. Helps that it’s incredibly fresh right now.

Caramel, earwax, spicy/herbal hops, not really that great. Seems like the organic part is a gimmick for you to try crappy beer.

Bottle. Orange body beckons with a glow of life and excitement. Powerful cornucopia aromas of grapefruit, pineapple and melon topped with Maraschino cherry. Perfect bitterness, highly refreshing and a wonderful ever-present fruit undercurrent. Bitter finish timed to the perfect length. A perfect IPA, which is even more astounding considering this is an organic and therefore the ingredient selection is more limited than your standard brew.
