12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods, Fairfax, VA. Pours a hazy amber color with a large frothy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of floral and citrus hops with caramel. The taste is bitter floral, minty and leafy hops with caramel and a bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good IPA.

12oz twist-off bottle. Pale orange amber color. Thin white head. Aroma of butter toffee and citrus hops. Citrus and butter... a strange combo. Flavor is a sweet malt. lots of caramel flavor. Finishes with a strong heavy hop bitterness. Very woody, earthy hop. Bold bitterness. Light bodied.

Bottle 6pk Had it Destin Florida - simple aroma, for an IPA, chill haze. Not sure if intended. Decent bitterness but lacking in malt character. Unimpressed.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours amber with a decent whit head. Aroma is nicely floral/citrus. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Could be a touch of diacetyl in the flavor. Otherwise nice floral/citrus hop over a slightly roasted malt. Finishes a bit buttery, but definitely bitter.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Deep amber pour with a lively 1.5 ginger off white head. The aroma holds lots of caramel and toffee biscuit with some evergreen forest and citrus notes. A resinous flavor leads to a pronounced bready malt profile that finishes sappy. Palate is a bit thin with low effervescence.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is the second Peak beer I’ve tried and the second one I’ve been impressed w/. I am normally suspicious of beers labeled organic but good things are happening. This pours a nice orance w/ industry-standard head of medium bubbles that lasts as just a haze on top of the beer. The nose is mild but nice, light and refreshing. Lemony citrus is the main flavor w/ a good deal of earthy bitterness in the finish to match a hint of sweetness. A bit of iced tea astringency rounds things out. This beer drinks very light. The texture is nice though w/ soft carbonation. My only complaint is that while it tastes great, there is really no reason for it to be quite as strong as it is and still tastes like this. You could get this much flavor in a five percent alcohol beer and you could drink a lot more of it, which in this case would be a very good thing indeed.

Draught @ nourish, Lexington, MA: Amber pumpkin pour, off white viscous but light head. Great lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and caramel. Tastes like lemon, citrus hops, bready, peppery. It’s lightly boozy, enough to notice, but I could tell it was over 5%. It’s not bad.
