Good aroma of leaves and flowers, regular copper pale looks with decent head. Very good bitterness, a sum of the hops used. Not that astringent. Dont know about IBUs but I would say at least 75. And the palate is just perfect for an IPA. Almost too perfect to jump to a Douple IPA. Extra Bitter, extra dry, and extremely consistent and lasting.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2013 Itís organic, itís an IPA, itís 7.1%. What more could you want? It doesnít pretend to be anything else, itís above average for the style. Floral & hoppy and very drinkable. More please.

Very interesting and distinct take on an IPA. Fantastic aroma but found the aftertaste to be a bit unpleasant (just barely).

Aroma of hops and pine. Tastes the same with a citrus punch. Not too much bitterness. Smooth and delicious.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of diacetyl, citrus, and floral hops. Diacetyl mostly dominates the aroma. Flavor is less diacetyl with more caramel malt, pine and bitter citrusy hops. This was a pretty good IPA, although it would be so much better without the diacetyl aroma. 6/4/8/4/15 [3.7/5]

Bottle best by Jul10. Poured orange with a slight off-white head that settles to a ring and left light lace. Nice aroma of grapefruit rind. The flavor found grapefruit and floral. Light to medium body and a mild bitterness throughout.

A classic IPA. Definite drinkability. The aroma and appearance are just what you would expect if not better. Very hoppy and with a bit of citrus to it. Great brew, will get more!

Bottle from Trader Joeís . Copper with head and lace. Very fresh hoppy aroma with caramel and fruit. Caramel toffee bready with medium pineapple peach fruity and resiny fresh hop finish. Fairly complex and tasty. Not a hophead super dry bitter IPA but pretty good. Helps that itís incredibly fresh right now.

Excellent burnt orange color, like carmelized apricots. 1/2 finger wide head thins out but remains slightly on top. Outstanding aroma, complex with notes of caramel, baking bread, slight cheese funkness (that isnít necessarily bad), and resin/pine hops. A lot going on there. Easy going down, carbonated and a long sticky finish. Interesting taste, not quite as promising as the nose but not bad. A blast of caramel sweetness upfront moves onto a serious resin/citrus hop middle cut with pineapple notes. Something else small (barnyard maybe?) isnít quite right there a really dry bitter, nutty finish. Taste starts good but goes south at the end. Decent beer with aroma and appearance being the highlights.

Bottle. Itís an almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, white head. Citrusy, piney nose with some maltyness. Flavorwise itís much the same, citrusy and piney and slightly malty sweet. Nice bitterness, but maybe a bit weak. Medium to full body, quite dry. Nice and lasting finish. A straight forward tasteful and pleasant IPA. A beer I could drink a few of. 110621
