2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Premier. There were some hops here, though essentially a toasty red ale flavour. Not unpleasant, but not greatly drinkable this night.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a small white head. I find that the nose is rather malty, actually. Taste is much the same, with malts dominating this beer. Not bad.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared by jcwattsrugger, thanks John. Poured a clear burnt orange/amber body with lots of rising effervescence and average size bubbly head. Aroma of oranges, citrus zest, marmalade on toast and a touch of lemon zest. The body was slightly syrupy with stronger carbonation and a creamy finish. Flavor of dry toast orange zest, citrus meat and a hint of dry vanilla. Solid beer but not great.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deep amber color, small white head. Ryeish hoppy aroma with some berries thrown in. Medium-bodied. Sweetish-berryish-ryeish flavor, some grainy notes and hints of strawberry(!).

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Rattle’N’Hum - Manhattan, NY. Equally strange as the MA. Tangy, metallic, rotten foul vegetable flavor. Unpalatable. Not as sweet and more bitter. This was a bit more workable since the increased hop perception gave it a crisper finish. Still, feel bad slamming this, but it’s really not working for me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Pours slightly hazy orange with a 2-finger beige head. Aromas of dough, citrus, and some pine. The flavor is sweet citrus and dough, mild bitterness, with a bitter citrus aftertaste. Average carbonation and body. Decent, but a disservice to NY hops.
